We’ve got to stop pigeonholing ‘people’ into parties...things have changed...it’s just not the same anymore.

Muckraker Alex Jones is right about one thing, the old Left-Right Paradigm just isn't holding up in today's world, which is a good thing.

I heard him.....and understand that he also acknowledged this would not sit well with conservatives. As an example he wants Health Insurance for all...that does not mean he supports Obamacare.

This election isn’t even out the gate yet....but I remain in the Cruz lane and will till the end...but I like Trump speaking out as he does even if I don’t agree 100%.

And we can’t forget Reagan won because he attracted traditional Deomcrats as well....

None of that matters - every one of them has a similar story.

If you listen to Huckabee on the issues, he is the most realistic and experienced and, we need a Christian who understands Israel and is not afraid of the topic.

Huckabee hasn't been taken down by the Clinton machine in all these years, in fact he beat them. That's a steady man.

I won’t give Trump a complete pass....who knows what he’d do if elected in Washington? But I do think he wants this nation to get back to producing things and stop giving handouts to foreign countries without getting something in return.

I prefer Cruz...but I would vote for Trump over Walker and the others ‘currently’....

"I heard him.....and understand that he also acknowledged this would not sit well with conservatives. As an example he wants Health Insurance for all...that does not mean he supports Obamacare."

Yeah, that's universal health care. Are we for that now as long as Trump supports it?

BTW, he said he would replace Obamacare with "something terrific." That's good to know...

He can speak out all he wants, but I think we can't afford to forget that Trump himself is a Democrat, and not a suitable candidate for conservatives. Nothing in his history suggests he is trustworthy; in fact, the opposite is true.

...”we need a Christian who understands Israel”...

One does not have to be a Christian to understand and support Israel....so that's no reason to vote for the man.

He's far to wimpy for me....and we need some powerful people to face those in Washington...couldn't possibly see Huckabee doing that at all. Being "steady" as you say simply tells me he;ll not risk rocking his boat.

If you avoid watching him, you don’t know if he’s wimpy. I find him scary strong in a way.

I do not see Trump as a Democrat...I see him more Independent when you view his positions....he goes on both sides of the Isle and not necessarily favoring either one, rather, he sees things as he sees them regardless which party supports them.

I oppose abortion but I don't support burning down buildings.
I oppose gay marriage....but doesn't mean I want to see people beat up over it.

Trump thinks he's got a better take on Healthcare...well we need to hear those specifics. What I do know is medical facilities cannot afford seeing people who don;t pay...especially with all the refugees and illegals here and coming...everybody needs to pay.

I saw him plenty enough when he ran before to know he’s not the man for the job nor now....there are just too many better positioned and with better ways to handle Washington. Huckabee will play along to get along...I have no doubt of that.

Thank you Donna. I am aware lifelong liberal Donald Trump has devised a defense that he hopes will appease conservatives. But I am also aware that one should not just listen to what a candidate says during an election cycle, we must also look at the candidate’s past. And Trump’s past is that of a liberal democRAT. Did you ignore Romney’s liberal past also and if not, why not? He, like Trump, said he was no longer liberal. That appears to be all it takes with some.

I listened again to Huckabee and on other videos...he’s the same guy he was when he ran before...just with more celebrity appeal because he wants to continue with his TV Appearances and programs.

....”I find Huckabee scary strong in a way”....

Oh really? In what way as I see absolutely nothing about him other than a guitar picker and TV host...neither of which he’s good at.

Here, let me re-iterate what the Trump supporters will say...

You’re a Troll! Your best friend must be Preibus. Jeb is that you? What, you like the Establishment?

We Trust Trump...no seriously, he is trustworthy.

We don’t give a damn that he isn’t Conservative...he talks tough.

...back to reality...as you said, he is a Liberal. Some on here are too busy drinking the kool-aid to admit this.

The “gay thing” and abortion are not mentioned in the U.S.Constitution. Therefore the States have the power over those items. It is up to the social conservatives to put on their thinking caps and deal with it ON THE STATE LEVEL instead of always whining about it.

That's just the point! We CAN'T deal with it on the state level, because a rogue Supreme Court has in each case (Roe v. Wade and Obergefell v. Hodges) STRUCK DOWN the rights of the states to deal with it, by imagining some non-existent personal right that is not found in the Constitution! This is a violation of the Tenth Amendment! So we need a change in the makeup of the Supreme Court--whose justices are appointed by the President--in order to change this back at the federal level.
