A friend of my family's was shot a little bit ago in Dallas. Details unecessary and unknown except that he is in surgery (status unknown).
He is a true man of God. And he has a family.
Prayers urgently requested.

First, to all you who prayed or asked friends to pray — I consider you true Prayer Warriors and FRiends! THANK YOU!
Second, here’s an update (it’s good): My friend was shot several times in the torso with a 9mm or larger caliber handgun. He passed out after fighting the thug punks off, likely from a combination of shock and blood loss.
He was rapidly found and transported to a the best hospital in Dallas for GSWs. Here’s the (literally) miraculous part: NOT A SINGLE MAJOR ORGAN HIT!
Lots of trauma, of course, and he’s sore as all get out, but he’s expected to make a full recovery.
Again, THANK YOU PRAYER WARRIORS!
PS He is one STRONG person, both physically and spiritually. A good one got saved last night, one of the best IMHO.
