This gun "math" problem works great if you leave out a little thing like logic...
American Irony ^ | 7-29-15 | The Looking Spoon

If Piers Morgan isn't the dumbest person on the planet, this tweet puts him in the top two:

A ‘math’ test for you, America: If NOBODY had a gun, how many people would be shot dead? If EVERYBODY had a gun, same question. See? — Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 27, 2015

It doesn't go well for him.

This is one of those questions liberals always think is debate ending, but what really happens is they reveal just how absolutely brain-dead they really are.

Let humour the man for a moment. If "NOBODY" had a gun how many people would be shot?

Well...first off, I don't know what kind of training this Nobody person has or how premeditated their attack would be...really it's impossible to answer that question without more information.

Kidding aside, if Piers meant "NOBODY" as in "no person," well that's easy. If there were absolutely no guns in the country whatsoever then nobody would be shot...with guns. Then, the opportunity would finally present itself for Hawkeye to run for "president" of the Gunless States of America against Green Arrow.

The winner would then have to form an agency to enforce the gun ban. I was thinking a fleet of Bigfoots riding around the country on unicorns. They wouldn't need to arm themselves because the unicorns fire rainbow lasers from their horns.

Then again, wouldn't they be redundant, I mean...there really wouldn't be anymore guns...RIGHT?!?

^ In any case, all off that is WAY more realistic than Morgan's "math" test.

If noone owned a firearm as of midnight January 1,2016, we might have to wait until noon January 1, 2016 for someone to make one.

Because in the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king.

(now there’s a math problem for Piers)

Libtards ALWAYS come out on top when they can compare their Skittle crapping Unicorn Utopia to an any actual society in the real world.

They don't fare so well when the realities of Libtard governance is compared to the actual track records of alternatives.

With a vertical mill and a lathe, a moderately skillful man can build a machine gun in a few days. He then would become king. The genie is out of the bottle.

The old adage: "In the Land of the Blind, the One Eyed Man is King."

Piers Morgan has been talking about guns for many years. How could it be that he has not been shot dead yet?

He is asking the wrong questions. The correct two questions are:

“How many people have the natural right to defend themselves and their family?”

“In a properly functioning society, should the citizens fear the criminals or the other way round?”

A little barbeque fuel, some insect repellent and meat preservative and WOW! Black Powder!

OR, a certain chemical cooked down with table sugar and Boom! Smokeless powder.

A tube closed at one end with a very small hole, and a ball bearing.

The Gun Genie escaped from the bottle back in 1325 AD. He will NOT go back in no matter how many laws are passed.

Noone immediately began smuggling large amounts of guns from overseas right after the turn in date in Australia. New South Wales has had to resort to numerous amnestys to retrieve firearms noone failed to surrender.
And, noone in numerous Australian gangs own or use oulawed guns.
And, of course, noone is committing gun crime there.

If no one had guns, the guy with the biggest club or knife or fist would have his way with everyone around him.

If by “nobody” he means nobody but socialist governments, the answer is 200 million during the 20th century.

And if everyone had a gun roughly the same number of people would get killed. Studies of European countries shows no correlation between gun restrictions and murder rates.

In a sense, the question has already been answered.
Let's think back to the days before the Spanish brought guns to this Continent.
No one was shot with guns.
They where shot with Arrows.
Speared with Spears.
And clubbed in the Head with Tomahawks.

Exactly! I mentioned that to wideawake as well.

Liberals want the blind leading the blind...the only problem is there are people out there who are smarter than they are.

The problem is made worse by the fact the intelligence bar is pretty low.

That’s why I came up with the Hawkeye/Green Arrow quip...

“Guns don’t kill people” is only a cliche to the ignorant.

If you could wave a magic wand and rid the world of guns, it would just revert back to the days of yore when brute strength, skill and edged weapons ruled the day.

When the strong easily dominated the weak and life was brutal and short.

Is that what we would want Piers Old buddy?

If nobody had a gun then you would have to learn to be better with a sword than the other guy or die.

The world has been there and done that.

Dead by sword or dead by gun your still dead.

Studies of European countries shows no correlation between gun restrictions and murder rates.

Fact #1, Russia has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the world, no Russian civilian can legally possess a firearm except licensed hunters during hunting season.

Fact #2, Russia's murder rate is now almost 4 times that of the US.

Conclusion: gun control causes 4 times more murders than free access to guns causes.

Those statistics are the findings of a 2007 study of European gun laws and crime statistics.

"In an independent research paper titled “Would Banning Firearms Reduce Murder and Suicide?,” first published in Harvard’s Journal of Public Law and Policy, Don B. Kates, a criminologist and constitutional lawyer, and Gary Mauser, Ph.D., a Canadian criminologist and professor at Simon Fraser University, examined the correlation between gun laws and death rates."
