Of course Mexico is sending us its criminals so they can follow their potential victims.

Is Trump right about the border? I seriously doubt those FBI statistics are made up.

Is Donald Trump correct when he says Mexico is sending some of its criminals into the United States mixed in with otherwise law abiding immigrants?

So, Mexico ships off it's citizens to other there countries so the other countries have the responsibility to feed and take care of them. Sort of like a welfare mother depending on the federal government for feed her fatherless kids.

Mexico is the cowbird of the human race.

First and foremost, there are no law abiding illegal aliens.

So saying that Mexico is sending us criminals to mix in with the illegal aliens is trying to put a new spin on illegals. They’re sending us criminals from the get go - even if you’re illegal in Mexico, if you’ve got a direct route to the US border, they’ll let you go.

But like illegal alien criminals in the US, the same thing happens in Mexico - you commit a crime than skip across the US border to escape the MUCH harsher Mexican jails. Plus there’s all the lovely bribery by smugglers to Mexican officials to look the other way, not to mention payoffs from kidnappers (and essentially, protection as well, since anyone who goes after the smugglers becomes a target.)

So the long and short of it is: Yes, Mexico is sending us criminals, and no, they aren’t mixing in with law abiding people, as there are none. Illegal aliens are not immigrants, they are line cutters who have no interest in following the legal and lawful manner of immigrating to the US.

“Is Trump Right About Mexico?”

That's a moot question. Because, when the government fails in the execution of its OWN long standing laws, when the MSM fails to report either fully or fairly, when facts and figures are misrepresented, withheld or unavailable.... NO ONE is right and NO ONE is wrong.

THIS is what you get with a weak, tyrannical, out of control and corrupt leadership.

Si, si, senor!

And Cuba did it to us on a much smaller scale during the Cuban Boat Lift.

They even opened their prisons and sent all of them here. And we knew it at the time.

Most of the Irish sent to the new world were not criminals

Many were slaves to the Crown for debts, for their religion, for their political views or just because the Crown wanted their lands to pass out to favored subjects

More Irish slaves were sent to the new world than Africans

It is an astonishing story that history is forgetting

Mexico is sending more than just their criminals

they have outsourced large parts of education, health-care, criminal and welfare spending to the USA.

Imagine if the USA just pushed its poorest citizens towards Mexico?

Many may be criminals, etc but apparently a lot of women/children are also making
the crossing. (I guess they could be classified as criminals for illegal entry.)
Lots of them are coming from countries south of Mexico or so it’s claimed.

There is a push out of Mexico; even if there may not be an easy to follow methodology, little opportunity, disparity between the rich and poor and the cartel wars have turned into close to a “failed state at our doorstep.” And the Government there long did not give a dang about their people.

They are also sending diseases which we have rarely seen in the US for 75 years.

One thing you should know is that every day American school buses come right to the Mexican border to pick up Mexican kids and take them to American schools.

How do I know this?

I live in Arizona and got to Rocky Point at least once a month in Mexico by way of Lukeville which is the customs border town. I often go early enough to cross the border at 6:00am. At that time you will see the yellow American school buses waiting for the Mexican kids to take them to American schools. You will see hundreds of kids walking over from Sonoyta and onto the buses.

In the afternoon the school buses come back and drop them off in Lukeville so they can walk home.

It really is shocking.

Since the article appeals to history, it is useful to cover the Mexico-US relations of our lifetime. Pre-Nixon Local Law enforcement was the primary means of enforcing immigration.
When Local cops apprehended a murderer or major drug dealer, he went to jail for a long time.

But when they were called to a bar fight between drunk “cousins” the jail time was small or none. The cops didn’t want to re-visit the same drunken brawls every week. So they deported the illegals. I facilitated some of these deportations in the ‘60s. Local cops in the US had a close relationship with local cops in Mexico. They exchanged heads up on 10 most wanted and trouble makers moving both directions.

Then far left president Nixon centralized all immigration power in the INS (now ICE). That destroyed the good relations between local cops on both sides of the border.
That centralization of immigration enforcement has been the single biggest mistake in immigration policy in my lifetime.

Close second is US Treas Sec Rubin destroying the Maquiladoras and sending all those Mexican Jobs to Asia. That action is what greatly increased the rate of Mexican immigration to the US.

Central Planners seem to never learn from history. The Asst to a member of the President’s cabinet really believes that he is smarter than the local cop in direct contact with the lawbreaker. The Assistant Bureaucrat really believes that destruction of Maquiladoras is in the best interest of those impacted. He knows what is best for them better than they do.

otherwise law abiding immigrants

They are not immigrants, they are illegal aliens.
They cannot be “otherwise law abiding” and be illegal aliens.
Illegal aliens must use fraudulent documents and lie on forms to get jobs.
Crimes must be committed daily to continue illegal presence in this country.

Interesting, I don’t doubt you. I know what has been called the “Migra” by Mexicans has been around for a long time, at least early ‘60s, when the Braceros program was around. I’d think the Migra was still a national agency, Naturalization?, I’m not sure.

Braceros was a big issue in the 50s. Up thru the 70s the AFL-CIO was strongly anti-immigrant (both legal and illegal). The Chicago machine was extremely anti-illegal Mexican immigrant and attacking Puerto Ricans for not having immigration papers.

It really wasn’t until the SEIU in the last 10 yrs that Unions have flipped... and likewise the Republicans flipped.

Historically both religious conservatives and Wall Street Journal Republicans have been pro-immigrant. “Let the free market decide.” Hannity used to ridicule Pat Buchanan as the only Malthusian anti-immigrant conservative... as witnessed by his dismal showing in both primary and 3rd party elections where he did worse than 3 other 3rd parties.

Conservatives being on the anti-free market side of immigration is a relatively recent event.
