Much of the media was recently unhealthily consumed by the unveiling of “Caitlin” Jenner. They praised her/him for how brave he/she supposedly is and people have raised him/her up to hero status.
While I respect the man’s right to do what he wants with his body, I do not think he/she should be held in such high, hero-like regard.
I was quite pleased to see that other women are also speaking out about what it really means to be a courageous female. Check out one of the best letters to “Caitlin” Jenner I’ve found to date:
Being courageous and being a hero does not come from changing your sexual identity.
For all the women out there who know the true meaning of being a courageous female, I commend you.

“caitlin” is a 401k retirement plan for a failed personage.
Had fun with someone who was having a bit of trouble with the whole concept of a trans-racial person. I said: How is this any different than Bruce Jenner calling himself a woman?
I could just see the sparks coming off their head as they tried to find some rational reply. After a few moments, I added, It is alright, Bruce already answered for you, he’ll always be the father to his children.
I really do enjoy making politically correct heads explode.

Personal story: My wife was one of the first female pilots hired by a major airline (1978). Then, black pilots were numbered N-1, N-2, N-3, etc., and the women numbered C-1, C-2, C-3. You get the idea.
She joined an organization of women airline pilots called ISA+21. After several years, they admitted a guy who was hired by the majors as a guy, but was in the process of having a sex change [sic] operation. Even made him the organization’s secretary, just like he was one of the “girls”. Yeah, right. My wife never renewed her membership.
Jenner still has his wedding tackle so he is not a woman anyway you look at it.
Yesterday I heard Jon Stewart saying something about "crazy republicans" and I looked at Mrs. Dad and said CRAZY REPUBLICANS?!? We're not the ones that look at a man mutilating his body and call him a woman! Yes, they are insane.
I hope C-1, C-2, and C-3 were not ranked by cuteness, with the C for "cute". Although I cannot speculate (not on a family website) what else it might have stood for.
Even if he cuts it off, genetically he’ll always be a male.

There is nothing at all courageous about running form reality or who you are. Total coward.
I understand your point but I don’t care for dehumanizing people. He is still a human being and it isn’t his fault that our sick culture is encouraging his delusion.
