Remember when GHWB didn’t know about scanners in the grocery store, and how he was pilloried for years as being out of touch with the people? Someone who couldn’t use a fax machine in 2009 is just as out of touch, but the media will make no issue about it—and anyone who does is a sexist homophobic bigot.
Forget the scanners. The press inculcated the falsehood that the Bush economy was the worst in 50 years.They kept on repeating non stop throughout the campaign. I believe “the worst economy in 50 years” is every bit as mendacious as the BushisHitler meme.
