Less than forty-eight hours after King Anthony sovereignly provided new theology for our secular, civil religion, the left is now publicly calling for the abolition of tax-exempt status for religious non-profits and churches.
It will come. It has to come. If gay marriage is a fundamental right under the equal protection clause, it is going to trump a lot of the first amendment. As Chief Justice Roberts noted, King Anthony’s theology precludes “free exercise” of religion.
But all of this is down the road a few years. Let me tell you what is going to happen first.

A newspaper in Pennsylvania has declared it will no longer allow letters to the editor opposed to gay marriage because it is a fundamental right.
BuzzFeed declared that, in its editorial position, there is no position other than support for gay marriage.
Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, banned all apps from its store that display the Confederate flag. That had to be walked back a bit, but there you have it.
The Los Angeles Times refuses to run letters pointing out that global warming is a scam.
And now, Apple and Facebook are set to develop news platforms that will have a human curator, instead of a computer algorithm. Twitter, likewise, is engaging humans on trending news topics, etc. It is only a matter of time because Google works its algorithm magic to drive down links to those who oppose the new cultural agenda.

I am stunned by our inability to effect things. I know so many conservatives and christian's that have given up or are quasi-SHTF-er's because and these are my words the E-GOP have been nothing but a bunch of back stabbing geldings and we don't want to organize, we want to be left alone and just live damn it. Whilst our adversaries are constantly on the March.
I have posted it here before, no one responds, no one gets it. We had a gent at a local get together trying to develop a cross functional platform so we as Beck would say would organize the organized and he has no money or help. The Progressives are 20 years ahead of us on this one.
Nevermind Sheldon Adelson giving someone 10 million to run, we need a way to connect, he'd be better spend it giving it to this gent I mentioned.
This is who we are up against, their new website has gone a bit down-low, but if you are from any left group they are all here, and can cross train or cross fund. The org chart to show this would shock you.

I wish you were right. But a lot of people seem to share your sentiment yet no meaningful resistance ever comes to fruition. It’s disappointing.

The situation is also a bit like where the Home Army found itself in 1944: the German socialists are killing you, and the Russian socialists are letting them.

Well said — it really is gonna take a miracle to turn this country around, and it has to start with God’s people getting on their knees and praying. Unfortunately, far too many are apathetic these days and only interested in listening to the Joel Osteen “Your Best Life Now” gospel.
I also think America may have already served its purpose in bringing the gospel to nearly every people group and facilitating the re-establishment of the nation of Israel. It is hard to see America having any kind of role in the events of Revelation, so it stands to reason we will cease to be a major world player.

I blame the pastors most of all, guys like Franklin Graham who parade around with their “Watchmen of The Wall” conferences, yet who “do nothing” CONCRETE to stop the slide into the abyss ...
