Why is the US Flag diplayed Upside Down?
The upside down U.S. flag is an official signal of distress. It is not meant to be, and is not officially recognized as any type of disrespect when so displayed for the right reasons. To the contrary, here is the relevant part of the US Code of Laws regarding how to fly the flag when in distress:
THE FLAG CODE Title 36, U.S.C., Chapter 10 As amended by P.L. 344, 94th Congress Approved July 7, 1976
§ 176. Respect for flag: No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor.
(a) The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.
Most individuals who have served in the military service of our nation will (or should) recognize this signal. As a result of the many traitors and enemies we as a free people have, both foreign and domestic, as a result of the many unconstitutional acts, legislation and atrocities passed and/or committed against US citizens and their life, liberty and property, and as a result of policies that have allowed (and continue to allow) enemies of this nation to enter in large numbers through a porous border policy, I believe the life, liberty and property of US Citizens are in dire danger and distress.
Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.

Tons of people on my FB are changing their profile pics to have some BS rainbow on them. My cousin, who trains pilots in the USAF, bunch of my friends. I feel sick. I feel like it’s time to push back against this. HARD.

Seeing observant Catholic women in their 40s who’ve never married (but late in life have shacked up for 6 years with an old boyfriend) don’t do much to convince me that they believe whole heartedly in the institution of marriage (or religion) no matter what they ‘say’.

Reading their comments on Facebook shows a lot of hate (including death threats to all dissenters, especially those with “an invisible pretend friend in the clouds”).
3 options on facebook (a socialist networking device, as today’s agitprop shows):
- Unfriend the libtards
or - click the box next to each post that you don’t want to see it in your feed
or - unfollow (but don’t unfriend) said libtards
4th option is to drop out of facebook all together. Sometimes it is good insight into the opposition’s talking points.
Tyrants in the Court - Writing laws today, they said they could not write yesterday.
Fascists in the Senate - Voting for legislation today, that corporate lawyers will write tomorrow.
Blind Mice in the House - Voting on legislation today, they had not even read yesterday.
Anarchy is a better system than this.
Have hundreds of Facebook friends. Only a dozen have openly celebrated this by posting images to their timelines. Have an even split of friends, since no politics is discussed. Been surprised by the lack of support.
I was on FB about a year. Dropped off five years ago. It felt so good.

It’s time to get off of FB. And those people are not your friends.
There are two groups of people now. Us and them. And “them” can be made up of relatives. My advice is to end the relationships. But that’s up to you.
It’s probably best to turn all the despair into anger. It’s far more useful.
