Nice uniforms. They made great targets with the advent of rifled barrels, smokeless powder and rapid fire cartridge ammunition.

I’m surprised this was not outlawed by some PC fascists. There might be some flags that were seen without a trigger warning!

How many died this time around?

I'm trying to imagine what my horse would think if I came out dressed like this:

Several Gettysburg Reenactments in the past have well exceeded the numbers stated for Waterloo 200 in both participants & spectators.

Was there a war at Gettysburg? What flag did they use?

“Several Gettysburg Reenactments in the past have well exceeded the numbers stated for Waterloo 200 in both participants & spectators.”

You are correct. I believe I read a long time ago that the 150th anniversary reenactment at Gettysburg had around 30,000 participants and over 100,000 spectators.

That would be over six times the size of this one that they are saying is the biggest ever.

But I would love to see either or both. It would be like being transported back in time without the huge electric bill!

Always wondered how many decades passed after invention of firearms until someone figured out firing from prone increased your survival odds over just standing there.
