Ryan sweetens Fast Track trade deal pot
The American Thinker ^ | June 11, 2015 | Rick Moran

Hoping to attract more conservative support for the Fast Track trade authority deal that will probably be voted on today, Rep. Paul Ryan is trying to address some major concerns that conservatives have with the bill by offering an amendment that would prevent the president from negotiating any changes to US immigration or climate change law.

Wall Street Journal:

[.....WSJ quote.....]

I don't think these concerns are "far fetched" at all, and Ryan's amendment is both wise and prudent. The fact that Congress has a vote on whether to accept the final deal - just like they have an up or down vote on any Iran deal - doesn't matter. This is a president who has shown contempt for the congressional branch of government, and it's anyone's guess just how he would seek to circumvent Congress in the event of a negative vote on the trade bill.

Some on the right and left can't see past the cone of silence that has descended on just what's been negotiated so far in the Asian trade agreement. The secrecy surrounding the text troubles both good government liberals and suspicious conservatives, who have ample evidence of Obama duplicity to find the secrecy a warning sign of worse things to come.

But despite a bi-partisan push against the bill, it appears that the votes to pass it have been locked up.

I hope Governor Gary Johnson (NM) runs again. These republicrats are democrats in drag. Give up on this hopelessly corrupt republicrat party. They had their last chance. Look what they did to thank us for voting for them. BOHICA

Just watch. Nothing will be changed from the Senate version and the House will pass this with a safe margin, sending it directly to King Obama.

I am willing to bet that the White House will use this new power as their authority for Obama’s executive actions on immigration, that was blocked by some judges.

How many politicians (especially Cruz) are supporting TPA due to lobbyist money???

A leaked email form WikiLeaks:

"Heads up - Potential Call from Iger or United States Trade Representative, Michael Froman & Call from Dodd regarding $$$ for Republicans

Michael,

I wanted to give you a heads up regarding a couple of issues, as you may be contacted in the next day or so….

Potential contact from IGER: I understand you may be contacted by Bob Iger or United States Trade Representative, Michael Froman to invite you (+ one) to a meeting at Disney next Friday (the 15th). While I’m not aware of the details of this meeting (time or agenda), my sense is that much of the discussion will center on the TRANS-PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP (TPP, which is a pending multilateral trade agreement with 12 countries that boarder the Pacific Ocean) – you’ll recall this was one of the key topics of your meeting with Froman and your peers at the White House last year. It seems as though these negotiations are drawing to a close this year and the President/Froman want key industries saying positive things about the benefits. The trick is it’s a closed process, so we don’t know how IP is handled in the text. Should this meeting come to fruition and you’re inclined to attend, I’ll prepare a briefing for you and Jeff.

Call from Dodd re NRCC/Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte: Chairman Goodlatte has established a new fundraising committee that would allow contributions to his effort WITHOUT giving to the NRCC (all of the studios had the same sensitivity on this as we did). Dodd is likely to call you with this news, tell you that the studio should support with $40k each, and tell you about the tentative date/time for this fundraiser (likely a lunch on 11/22). Our PAC can give $15k, the rest would need to come from individual execs.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,

KW"

THIS MAKES ME SICK TO THINK THAT THE GOP IS SELLING US OUT FOR $$$!!!

I’m thinking this is nothing more than a Sucker Play to help RATS capture Senate and House in ‘16.
And Ryan stepped right into it.

They are attempting to sell the entire country out to a NWO globalist government. They may well succeed.

In other words Ryan pointed out that congress will be exempt from insider trading. They will be the first to know what trade deals are on the table and while they vote yes or no their brokers will be buying the correct stocks and investments that will make them extremely wealthy people. All while the rest of America gets screwed.
