Norway vs. Thailand in Ottawa, 1 p.m. (Fox)
Germany vs. Ivory Coast in Ottawa, 4 p.m. (Fox, NBC Universo)
538 doesnt see either the Ivory Coast or Thailand making the knockout round. Both teams will likely have terrible goal differences after playing the Europeans, meaning a draw in their head-to-head will doom both to early exists.
Theyre two teams that wouldnt have qualified if the tournament wasnt expanded. Thailand likely wouldnt have qualified out of Asia if North Korea hadnt been banned, while Ivory Coast finished third in the African Womens Championship. In 2011, only two African teams made the World Cup.

"There's a real belief within the group that we can perform really well and that's come from hard work. It hasn't come from talking trash, or talking ourselves up or talking stuff that ain't real. It comes from four months of preparation, hard work, lots of wins, lots of goals, lots of blood, sweat and tears on the training field and lots of time away from home."
