Caitlyn Jenner can make Olympic history again -- the doors to the Hall of Fame are swinging wide open for her to enter ... all she has to do is ask.
Caitlyn was inducted into the H.O.F. back in 1986 thanks to her legendary gold medal in the 1976 Olympic decathlon. But, of course ... Bruce is the name attached to that honor. At least for now.
Patrick Sandusky, spokesperson for the US Olympic Committee, tells TMZ they would gladly update the name to Caitlyn. He says if she files a formal request, the Committee would review it, and presto -- bye bye Bruce, hello Caitlyn.
A rep for Caitlyn tells us she's unclear if she'll make the request.
She's got time to think it over. There won't be any physical honor for the H.O.F. inductees until the U.S. Olympic Museum opens in 2018.
So for now, the change would just be one for the record books.

If I’m following the logic, presuming there is logic, the athlete formerly known as Bruce Jenner can retroactively change history.
If that athlete so chooses to have been a woman in the past, then all medals should be taken away based on the fact that a woman was never eligible to win them.
Yet another reason it should be stripped of its medals! It’s medals were obtained fraudulently, according to the LBGTABCDEF mafia way of thinking! Either the LBGTABCDEF mafia will step up and admit that its medals need to be rescinded, or they are a bunch of flaming hypocrites!

It is BRUCE Jenner who earned the Gold Medal in the MEN’S Decathlon, and who thus entered the Olympic Hall of Fame.
BRUCE is the Olympic Champion, and BRUCE is the one whose name should remain in the Hall of Fame!!!! PERIOD!!!!
Please, Lord, if Bruce has not yet made himself a eunuch, intervene and dissuade him from doing so! Enable him to come out of his delusion, and to reverse all the things that he has done to make him look like a woman!!!!
“Caitlyn” is a lovely name—for an actual woman! I’ve known several Caitlyns in my life. But there is no “Caitlyn Jenner”!!!!
Finally, I have believed for many years that Monica Lewinsky deserved to move beyond the shadow of her youthful indiscretion, and to have a normal and worthy life. But now she’s all over Twitter, praising the “courageous” “Caitlyn Jenner”, and saying how proud she is that “Caitlyn” took inspiration from her TED talk. (Yes, both Monica and “Caitlyn” are associated with Vanity Fair.) How can Monica hope to have a decent life if she keeps gushing over this circus freak?
