Thanks for All Who Pray(ed) for my Buster

Posted on 05/31/2015 8:47:11 PM PDT by Secret Agent Man

Just wanted to say "thanks" again to all who have prayed in the past for my Buster, and those who still may be doing so.

It's been probably about 8 weeks or so since the last surgery, which did go well.

Since then I have had him on a new "cocktail" of natural tinctures of various immune-boosting and anticancer herbs and such, along with his normal pain medicine from the vet for his arthritis, and I also give him cold laser treatments for the arthritis as well.

I finally got the cocktail of the natural stuff right, I believe, to be very beneficial for him, and also tasting really good. I mean, if I had the money, I'd be drinking some of this each day! His energy is very good, he's actually been able to run full speed again this week, and at this point two months after surgery I haven't felt any new tumor-type masses where they would be reappearing.

He's on a three month review schedule so early July he'll get checked over as a precaution to try to catch it early if there is anything to deal with. Hopefully the things I am giving him for the cancer will continue to strengthen his body's ability to fight off any cancer, or at least either keep it under control, or delay it from becoming a bigger problem, longer.

So again, thanks for everyone in the past who has kept him in their prayers. It certainly does help. It's helped me find these things for him and figure out which ones were safe for him, and then figure out the dosings.

We found organic turmeric which is pretty cheap worked really well for our 17 year old Beagle Buddy. It really helped his arthritis pain and no side effects. My sister now has her ten year old Pyranees on it.

We are glad that Buster is on the road to recovery. Our wienerdog, Princess Pocahontas got really sick a little over a month ago and gave us quite a scare. After multiple vet visits, x-rays, diagnostic tests, medication, surgery and more medication she seems to be almost fully recovered now.

Unfortunately, her little friend Dexter the wienerdog who lived next door got sick and didn’t make it. They both got sick at the same time; we are worried that our neighbor who killed one of our other dogs years ago might be responsible.

Like a poisoned treat? It’s sick that people do that. My buddy has to be careful because there have been a couple times it’s happened to his dogs (who are not by nature, barkers or noisy).

That is what we are concerned about. The dog we had that was killed previously was hit in the head with a rock. Neither our dog or the neighbor’s dog have been particularly loud. The neighbor is afraid of small animals. We have found many dead squirrels and bunnies. It is possible that the dogs found something meant for small wild animals; although both of them have been very carefully supervised so it is a little hard to figure out how it could have happened.

Enjoy each and every day, SAM. I speak from experience. I’ve had doggies that went to the Rainbow Bridge suddenly and doggies that I knew would meet their buddies in a few weeks. Although the knowledge is heart breaking.. the time was precious. (((Hugs))) Mom
