ADAM-12 SHRUGGED: Let Them Reap Their Cloward-Piven Chaos In Baltimore
ClashDaily.com ^ | 5/28/15 | Donald Joy

Posted on 05/29/2015 5:17:24 AM PDT by IChing

The majority-minority denizens of the urban hellhole I call Baltimogadishu are getting exactly what they demanded (and deserve) for electing a 100% Afro-Marxist cabal; a cabal which viciously joins the Obama administration and media in demonizing local cops, while excusing and even sanctifying mobs of unfettered black terrorist thugs roaming and ruling the streets.

Rates of mayhem and murder in Baltimore are skyrocketing through the roof, with police often surrounded and attacked by seething crowds of terrorists when they respond to calls.

Given impossible work conditions, and a vacuum of official leadership or support, rank-and-file cops in Baltimore are apparently doing the only sensible thing: They’re largely just throwing up their hands; giving up on proactively and/or aggressively fighting crime, for the most part.

I don’t really blame the cops — for the shrugging part, that is. I’d wager most of them naively vote democrat too, unfortunately. The thing is, the present ‘Lord of the Flies’ situation of widespread wanton savagery results as much from deliberate political design as from ordinary ignorance, and with Leftist ‘progressives’ in complete control of Baltimore, only foolhardy or suicidal dupes in blue would continue vainly risking life, limb, and liberty trying to counter it in any meaningful way. That is, unless and until the political situation itself changes meaningfully.

Sages on the political Right predicted all of this, of course. It’s the natural unfolding of specific dynamics in Leftist orthodoxy — namely, the widespread black mob violence called for in the democrats’ Cloward-Piven Strategy of Orchestrated Crisis:

http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/Articles/theclowardpivenstrategypoe.html

On Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven’s manifesto, Richard Poe writes:

Their article called for “cadres of aggressive organizers” to use “demonstrations to create a climate of militancy.”Intimidated by threats of black violence, politicians would appeal to the federal government for help.Carefully orchestrated media campaigns, carried out by friendly, leftwing journalists, would float the idea of “a federal program of income redistribution,” in the form of a guaranteed living income for all — working and non-working people alike. Local officials would clutch at this idea like drowning men to a lifeline. They would apply pressure on Washington to implement it. With every major city erupting into chaos, Washington would have to act.

This was an example of what are commonly called Trojan Horse movements — mass movements whose outward purpose seems to be providing material help to the downtrodden, but whose real objective is to draft poor people into service as revolutionary foot soldiers; to mobilize poor people en masse to overwhelm government agencies with a flood of demands beyond the capacity of those agencies to meet. The flood of demands was calculated to break the budget, jam the bureaucratic gears into gridlock, and bring the system crashing down. Fear, turmoil, violence and economic collapse would accompany such a breakdown — providing perfect conditions for fostering radical change.

This is what Justice looks like. Let them have it. They created it, and they deserve it.

Urban voters who reflexively, unthinkingly support democrats at all times (and vilify republicans) are tasting their just desserts; the fruits of blind loyalty to so-called progressive liars and their doomed, inferior policies.

When they’ve had enough, some of us might still be around. And we’ll consider teaching them how to rebuild a saner, safer society. The question is whether they’ll ever learn.

I agree that she wasn't going to give an answer. And I support reporters who do press for an answer. Perhaps my expectations are too high.

I work with engineers (I are one). Quite a few are remarkably inarticulate. They stutter. They stammer. They struggle to provide answers. It might be more acceptable to me if they were all brilliant Einsteins making an effort to explain themselves to a mere mortal. But that is usually not the case. Usually, these are just run-of-the-mill guys who cannot express themselves with any skill.

For me, it's painful to talk to these guys. Conversation are long, slow, and repetitious. BUT I do not interrupt them, because that just makes it worse. It flusters them, makes them defensive and disagreeable. So I wait. I listen. I allow them to say what they want to say in their own way and in their own time. It makes my skin crawl, but I do this every single day. It's the only way I have found to manage these people effectively. I listen more than I talk.

The reporter/politician relationship is substantially different. But when I see someone get cut-off after saying just a half dozen words, it really makes me think that the Questioner is just working an agenda and not being fair. It bothers me. Especially of the Answerer is not an articulate person -- the interruptions are baldly counter-productive. Clearly, the conversation is going to go downhill really fast. Is that the goal of an interview?

Bingo, you just don’t ever try to hold a black female democrat in an official position accountable, it’s utterly taboo, and the reporter will probably be Breitbarted by sundown

“About that Baltimore mayor thing —

1) I bet the mayor would have been totally unable to give a good answer.
2) I bet the mayor has put in place really bad policies.
3) The reporter is an utter jerk.

The reporter allowed the mayor to say about 5 words — then he interrupted her with a different, but related question. Then he allowed her to say about three words, and then he interrupted her again.

Sorry. I know the reporter is right and I know the mayor is the problem. But the reporter is a jerk.”

You sir...are what Marx and Lenin used to refer to...one of the “useful fools”...

We finally found a reporter with the gonads to act like a reporter. You may be to young to remember Sam Donaldson. I can still hear and see him interrupting President Reagan with his famous...”Hold on their Mr. President”....

I suggest that you take a page from Leland’s (the Fox reporter) book and grow a pair.

Dude. Wake up. Did you miss the previous incident featuring this mayor, this reporter, and Al Sharpton?

Did you miss the last few decades of lying Leftists controlling the script? smh

Where's the justice in having to live unsafely for just being a poor, poorly educated black person who can't even move about safely on the street?

The only one we saw who deserves better is that mother who went and physically forced her son to leave the chaos. Astounding that she knew that leaving those kids off at a HS bus stop there was an astoundingly bad idea when city, school, and community leaders were clueless.

Are any of them speaking out for the police, in the safety of their homes? Are any of them starting recall petitions to get rid of the mayor and city prosecutor? Are any of them speaking out in favor of the police?

I'm sorry for the destroyed lives. But there's a lot of reaping and sowing going on there.

I’d love love to see who takes responseibility when they are all victims!

Rawlings-Blake is totally out of her depth. I’m not sure what her proper depth is, maybe a kindergarten class.

I heard it yesterday, and if I recall, the mayor started to give a pol answer (filibustering, not answering the q.) and that’s when she was interrupted.

Asking if arrests are down fifty percent certainly merited a straightforward YES or NO.

Another proffered explanation is that by increasing chaos & destruction, property values plummet for what once was, and someday will be again, very valuable real estate.

There are already somewhere on the order of thirty thousand abandoned row houses in Baltimore. I don't see how they ever regain value. For families, there's nowhere for the children to play and who would send their kids to a city public school?

Watching the video (having only heard the audio before), she looked totally lost that any question was posed.

In America, I believe they'll just set the stage so Americans will take each other out (because we have the 2nd amendment designed to protect ourselves from an overly oppressive government). That way, the politicians can keep their hands clean - or so it will appear.

If it comes to that, politicians will not be spared.

I are one too. And that's why they're engineers.

That’s what she meant by “we usually conduct very orderly press conferences” - meaning, no one ever questions her over her policies, etc.

It’s unfortunate that anyone on FR would think someone like her is “lost” in such a situation. I’d think that Freepers would already understand the professional Left and their tactics.

Exactly, they lob softball questions, and they obsequiously accept any and all b.s. “answers”
