Why Aren’t the Republicans Fighting Harder?

Either, the GOP is too fearful. The GOP is ignorant. Or, the GOP is a part of the problem

As a public speaker, I have the opportunity to spend a lot of time with various political clubs, groups and organizations. When it comes to the question and answer portion after my U.S. Constitution presentations, the most common question I get is, “Why don’t the Republicans fight harder?”

I tell the audience there are three possible answers. Either, the GOP is too fearful. The GOP is ignorant. Or, the GOP is a part of the problem.

It may be a little bit of all of them.

If you'd ask them the Republicans would tell you that they are doing "the best that they can". And that is the problem right there.

Congress is moot now any way, the dictatorial precedence set by Obastard has made Congress irrelevant.

[Why Aren’t the Republicans Fighting Harder?]

Conservatives and Liberals have passion for their convictions.
Moderate RHINOS don’t stand for anything.

The GOPee needs to have The Jebster as POTUS. Then they can get their work done.

One word: Patriotism.

Very few in DC have it anymore, zero for Dems since Joe Lieberman left the party(or was excommunicated by the Party).

Joe would gladly cross left lines to fight for the country, in spite of his liberal credential in many areas. Zel Miller was another.

DC politicians are there to enrich themselves, not to serve the people of this country.

Wish we could see the net worth of every Senator or Congressman when he entered office and compare it to now or when they left office.

All that remains of the Constitution are certain forms, which no longer function as designed. The real nail in the coffin is that almost nobody WANTS them to function as designed, and an administration committed to the rule of law that somehow snuck into power would be overthrown in six months.

It's the defection of Congress from its responsibilities that's at the core of the American Crisis. They have willingly surrendered all of their vital powers to make representative government a reality - the power to declare war, the power to coin money and regulate the value thereof, the power to regulate the appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme and inferior courts, the power to regulate commerce with foreign nations, to legislate over the District of Columbia IN ALL CASES WHATSOEVER, the power to regulate commerce among the several states - all given, gladly, to the Executive Branch, over the past 100 years.

It's quite like Rome, after Julius Caesar. The Senate still existed, but it served no significant function.

We will not overcome this, I fear.

Clealy, the national GOP is all three; so must be the Republican primary voters of 2016. I shudder at their looming choices.

The GOPe has an identity problem. They can’t distinguish themselves from Democrats, and therefore take themselves out of the debate. They think the best way to handle political issues is to find out what Democrats are saying, and use that to argue with their voter base.

“Why Aren’t the Republicans Fighting Harder?”

The answer is very simple: They “go along to get along” in order to appease ignorant voters who have been “brain washed” into believing the Republican party represents hard working, freedom loving, law abiding citizens by their “class act” in pretending to represent while really maintaining their hold in office to ensure the money keeps coming in to “line their own pockets.”

Lie to the stupid voters and they will believe you no matter what. Why? Well! After all a Republican would not lie to you....would they?

Voters in general are lemmings or groupies. They go with what everyone in their circles and crowd are doing. They do not pay attention to the real facts and results of their own voting ignorance. “Smoke and mirrors” really works in politics.

Now, to the real “proof in the pudding” of which I speak: Term Limits. Why does just the mention of that phrase make them go crazy like sticking your finger in a fire ant bed? Intelligent (and informed) people know the answer but you will never hear it mentioned by any politician on either side of the isle.

The majority of politicians from local to national progressively and incrementally “line their pockets” as they migrate from the local level to higher state and national levels. What is the method they use to gain such power and wealth? Simple: Crony Capitalism! There is absolutely no other reason that wealth would search them out.

The “pipe dream” that the Republicans will actually represent the views of the majority of those who vote for them is simply a myth, nothing more.

Someone here wrote the other day that the GOP number one goal is to obtain money from lobbyists. That sounds right to me

Because the Repuglicans have no balls and no backbone. As well as MCconnell ges his litle henchman in there and threatens the Repuglican Senators with ‘if you go against me and obama, I will personally make sure you have no repuglican support and w will handpick a candidate and finance the candidate o run against you”. It is called extortion, which is a crime, but you know that the government never prosecutes the criminals that are in leadership they just go after the litl guy an people like Martha Stewart and someone whom they can trash!

It is a mix of: 1. they are afraid and 2. they are getting the results they want. The proportions of 1. and 2. have yet to be discerned.

They don’t know why they should fight.

They don’t know how to fight.

They have no convictions or principles for which to fight.

Did I miss anything?

The RNC/GOP is completely compromised. They are not representing conservatives, they are blocking them from power.
The sooner conservtaives wake up to this fact the sooner we can start a real opposition party.

I will tell you the truth, but you won’t like it. THE REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT is part of the problem. Rather than seeing the problem for what it is, they’d rather protect their turf. This is why I call them “SPINELESS WHORES”.

Why Aren’t the Republicans Fighting Harder?

They fight real hard, and talk the talk, about 6 month before election time. After all, we work for them and not the other way round. The USC, life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, religious freedom, checks and balances, 3 branches and all that, that is merely optional.
Now quit bugging your all knowing government officials with silly questions and get back to work, serf!
