Liberal Professor: ISIS is "Imaginary"
Pundit Press ^ | 4/17/15 | Aurelius

Posted on 04/17/2015 4:13:27 PM PDT by rightistight

Dr. Langdon Winner, who describes himself as “very liberal to put it mildly,” believes that the terrorist organization is “imaginary.” Dr. Winner has also written that white people don’t exist, the Black Panthers of the 1960s have been right all along, and that conservatives “love to humiliate the poor.” He works as a professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute...

Conservatives Bad

...Yet most stunning is that Professor Winner believes that ISIS is an "imaginary foe" and that the true enemy of the United States is capitalism:

ISIS Fake

Has this been brought to the attention of the alumni of RPI?

What their attention, grab them by the money, their harts and minds will follow...

PhD in Political Science from UC Berkeley. Supposedly an expert on the “politics of technology”. I thought RPI was a science and engineering school. Why would they hire an extreme leftist known as an anti-technology Luddite? Oh, he’s in an “endowed” chair (Soros or ?).

It’s surprising how many professors believe stuff like this

I believe that ISIS is a creation of the US Government and the CIA. The same way Al Queda and the Ukraine rebellion. Our govt has strayed very far from being the “good guys” and it is not just Barry 0.

Probably the result of all those cosmic rays hitting his brain in his ivory tower (not wearing his tin foil hat).

Dr. Winner? Well, these are the very people that set national and domestic policy.

Lets send Langdon to Syria and let him report his findings.

Well, you certainly live up to your username.

Just out of curiosity, how did crack cocaine reach America's inner-cities?

Yet another example of a worthless “educator”. Someone call DFS and report him for child mental abuse of his students. What a complete detached moron.

I learned a new term, “authoritarian capitalism”. Sounds to me like National Socialism. Of course a leftist would be an expert on that...

Crack cocaine, probably when cocaine users figured out how to change the form looking for a new high. Yes, the CIA has a long history of running drugs though. Ask some troops that served in Afghanistan that were tasked to guard poppy fields. Ask a Vietnam vet about Air America or drugs being moved in caskets. How about Clinton and the Mena airport?

If Conservatives are so powerful that we can project to the entire world ISIS,
don't you think we would be in the WH forever?

Conservative support for wars is starting to decline as conservatives start to wake up and realize that, as US Marine Corps General Smedley Butler wrote, “War is a Racket”.

So how do our illustrious elites and their minions keep conservative “sheeple” supporting wars ?

One way, have liberals come out and say the truth, that ISIS and “terrorism” are false flag operations.

Since liberals said it - it must be wrong...

So conservatives are then supposed to think that ISIS and terrorism MUST BE real.

The elites do these mind games. Have been for centuries.

Many conservatives are reading and learning though, and won’t fall for such a simple trick.

We know that the ad hominem logical fallacy is to argue that a statement must be false because of who said it.

Duh.

There are many conservatives on FR who are waking up to the war “business”, along with taxes, the Fed, etc. But there are a few holdouts who can’t believe that they’ve been lied to all their lives by generations self-appointed “leaders” of conservative ideology, Hollywood and their teachers. The holdouts keep pushing for US military adventures, not realizing that those adventures are not about defending Americans but about the desires of a few Satanical rich people who like to run the world.

I strongly disagree. Nation building is a racket. War is not. I have a different philosophy on war after 9/11. War should be the total destruction of your enemy. Destroy them for at least one generation. Without nation building, wars would not be so compelling.

We have enemies in this world. Islam is primary and communism in it's many forms is secondary.

Read Butler’s book, the pdf is online.

First off, there is always rebuilding after destruction.

Do you see how global finance and infrastructure firms profit from rebuilding ?

Opposition to Islam is Biblically done through spreading the Gospel, “the sword of the spirit”, not through wars. That’s how all false religions will eventually be conquered.

The elites have had espionage operations going on in the middle east for over a century. The elite families of finance have always co-opted religions and all other groups, Masons, etc., for their own purposes.

Communism was invented by the elites - its their program. This is why the elites of the UK and US have always had secret backchannel trade and finance with communist nations. They are simply slave states for the elites with a puppet leader.

Josef Stalin worked for the Rothschilds as a young man; he was a muscle man in the boom-bust oil fields of Eastern Europe.

Look at the Fabian Society; its organizers and elites were part of the financial “powers that be” in the UK. Just look up the family trees of the leaders; study the British East India Company and its leading investors and directors. Study the Bank of England in the same way; look at the mutual relationships. The world’s financial elite families “run” the UK as their “flagship” nation, they run the US as their main “muscle” nation and they run the communist nations as fake “adversaries” which are really slave states.

Hundreds of millions in sales. That’s money just sitting there waiting for the taking.

The bombed out population pays for it in future taxes.

It’s a classic case of a dramatic liquidity problem.

The population needs basic infrastructure put back real fast so they can get food, clothing, shelter, transportation, etc. The local government can’t possibly afford to lay out all the cash required to pay for the reconstruction. The population is desperate for food, etc. Some nice financial syndicate will happen along and help the government float its bonds. The big contractors see a “customer”. So the contractors and the financiers are all over the situation like white on rice, working together to make it happen.

This is why the elites have always been so “interested” in “helping” the third world. It’s a never-ending source of sales, bond interest, taxes, cheap goods, raw materials, labor, etc., trade, etc.... and when you’re done with a “rebuilding” you have a tinpot dictator installed as your puppet. You know, if you happen to also work with the nice Western governments and their “agencies”.
