Chipotle manager says Hillary didn't tip
The Hill ^ | April 15, 2015 | Mark Hensch

The manager of an Ohio Chipotle restaurant on Wednesday said Hillary Clinton didn’t drop money in the tip jar during her visit earlier this week.

Bloomberg reported that Charles Wright, manager of Chipotle’s Maumee, Ohio, location, said Clinton left no change after placing her order Monday afternoon.

“Her bill was $20 and some change, and they paid with $21 and left,” Wright said of the Democratic presidential candidate’s spending.

Clinton, who was on her way to Iowa, visited the Maumee franchise during its afternoon lunch rush alongside Huma Abedin, the vice chairwoman of her presidential campaign. Employees did not recognize either woman.

“We get a bunch of tips,” Wright, a GOP voter, said of his store’s typical business. “If we’re doing our job right, people tip.”

Wright said the pair ordered a chicken burrito bowl, a chicken salad, a blackberry Izzy and a soda. After an employee rang them up, he added, Clinton did not cover the final total.

“The other lady paid the bill,” he said of Clinton’s companion. “Clinton didn’t pay.”

The former secretary of State announced her campaign in a video released on social media Sunday.

“I’m running for president,” Clinton said in Sunday’s video.

“Everyday Americans need a champion,” she continued. “I want to be that champion.”

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh raised the issue of Clinton’s tipping during his Tuesday broadcast. Her behavior was important, he argued, given the rhetoric of her campaign.

“But I would like to know if she left anything in the tip jar, because that would be an indication that she understands the average, ordinary, everyman that she seeks to represent,” Limbaugh said.

Hillary and her liberal friends want to raise the minimum wage - have the taxpayers foot the bill for their failed policies.

Liberal elites don't pay.

And taxes?!

"Taxes are for the little people" Hillary has her Foundation that shelters her $Billions - a growing nest egg laid at her feet by giving speeches and selling access (including to foreign countries) - it is her private slush fund (and her private emails are nicely out of reach), a huge and growing pot of money to pass on (without tax worries) to her heirs.

Cute.

Sunglasses, tousled hairdo and Mao Frock, with Girl-Toy Huma at her heels even picks up her own order! Everywoman!

You can’t blame Girl-Toy, she comes from a culture that doesn’t tip and she couldn’t make the decision on what was appropriate? Maybe they think the $15/hour is enough?

It’s hard to be Everywoman! There’s just too many versions to keep up with.

WSJ:Clinton Foundation to Keep Foreign Donors"..............The new rules for the Clinton Health Access Initiative, an affiliated but separate charity, were expected to be somewhat less restrictive than the new Clinton Foundation rules, and hadn’t been completed on Wednesday. Officials said the missing disclosure was an oversight.

Ethics experts had recommended the foundation forego all foreign donations. Robert Walker, the former nonpartisan chief counsel and staff director of the Senate and House ethics committees, said the foundation likely will need to go further than its current plan.

“The only effective step would be for the foundation to cease accepting donations from foreign governments,” Mr. Walker said. “It is inevitable that the foundation will, sooner rather than later, decide to forego accepting donations from foreign governments, except for those pledges already on approved multiyear cycles.”

Under the new rules, approved countries would be allowed to renew multiyear pledges, or make additional contributions to new programs, an official said. Such funding would support economic development or climate-focused work of the Clinton Climate Initiative, the Clinton Development Initiative, which focuses on Malawi, Rwanda and Tanzania, and the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership.............."

Yes, read it yesterday off Drudge. It, like most everything else in her campaign, is typical of the condescending deceit she and her ilk have for the public.

Left to her own devices she’d run a campaign from her basement bunker (with Huma) in Chappaqua. All she really needs there is a video recording studio complete with green screen to be anywhere she wants to seem to be.

the same media that told leftist losers what they wanted to hear: that barack obama was The One, The Messiah, The Mmm-Mmm-Mmm, is now telling you what you want to hear.

Enjoy the show, because that's all it is.

So Huma lost the bet on the NCAA, and bought the Beast's lunch.

Tip Jars at self-serve restaurants are often ignored by me so I have no issue with Hillary & Huma doing so. I’m glad to say I’ve never darkened the door of a Chipotle.

No, I generally do not leave a tip at a place where I get my food at the counter and bus my own table, get my own drink and do the job of a waiter for me and mine.

Only been to Chipotle once...was singularly Unimpressed.

This is nothing new.

I remember a story about her stiffing a waiter when she was a senator.

Yeah, I’m not seeing the story here. I don’t think I’ve ever even seen a tip jar in a Chipotle.

I DO NOT TIP at Chipotle or any other fast food location either. Whether the topic is Hillary or not, this is such a BS article. Makes me (1) less likely to eat at Chipotle and (2) if I did, I’d make a point of not tipping and telling them as much. I HATE THE IDEA THAT EVERYONE THINKS THEY SHOULD BE TIPPED FOR DOING THEIR JOB.
