We use a Mr. Coffee drip style and use bottled water (our tap water is very rusty). Always add at least 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon to the pot -— help lower glucose and adds a flavor kick to the Seattle’s Best coffee we use.

Appreciating the coffee thread. How can we battle yankees and ultra-libs without good coffee to shore us up.

That cinnamon tip sounds interesting. I’m not a cinnamon fan but last week made a Norwegian chicken recipe that used it and it was great! Recipe was from Perfect Day or New Scandinavian Cooking on the Create channel. Supposedly the recipe is 800 years old.

Mrs p6 said it is a keeper.

It added a great new dimension to the chicken, can see it in coffee.

Will have to try that.

I’m using Chemix cotton cloths for the filtering. No more paper filters. They’re resusable and filter beautifully. You can get on Amazon or from Chemix.
