On the first day we saw the North Charleston, South Carolina, shooting video of Walter Scott by Officer Michael Slager we were as shocked as everyone. However, as research now indicates there is much more to the story.

What we cover here in the latest update might just change the entire way the story continues…

it also appears from a previous “excessive use of force charge” by a man who was tazed for opening his door (despite telling the cops he was not the occupant they were looking for), that Slager is a “taze first ask questions later” kind of sadist who got enraged when his control of the situation was challenged and his prey attempted to flee

Scott may have been doomed no matter what he did

Read the post, genius. And if you were trained properly, you’d know that there are in fact circumstances(not necessarily these) where you MUST shoot someone running away from you. If I have to explain it to you, you were not trained properly as I was.

Being zapped by a tazer might well effect the cops judgement-—It could effect his training and ability to make the right call. IF ITS TRUE!

The truth has no agenda, if he’s guilty, he should go down, but don’t fry him until you try him, and when you try him you have to use facts and the law. And if he’s guilty, it is a question of what, and to what degree, not just knee-jerk b.s.

I particularly liked the cops kill shot. Did you notice how under threat of imminent death by God only knows what weapon the 51 year old out of shape and pudgy black man was carrying as he was waddling as quick as he could.

Note how he squeezed off a few rounds into the mans back when he was 5-10 paces off, then the dramatic pause, the careful aim. Double cupped grip, profile presented to the target. Than BAM! The kill shot at 15 to 18 paces.

Not only will he be proven innocent, the video itself will be incorporated into standard police tactics on how to shoot a dangerous scofflaw. The white cop, black scofflaw provides great contrast on film.

Such grace under near fatal pressure. Jack Bauer couldn't have done any better.

Maybe, maybe not. If you are sincere, you’ll digest the post. The law as applied MAY find Slager not culpable. I definitely say he avoids murder conviction. The jury will be shown this analysis.

Thank you very much for the post. I couldn’t get through on the link you posted but was able to go right to the site directly - http://theconservativetreehouse.com/

The videos and map are excellent and really clarify the confrontation. It definitely shows Scott fired the taser at the cop and then ran. It also shows Slager did not “plant evidence”. He retrieved the taser from the road, brought it to where he was staying with the Scott as helped started arriving, and then he picked it back up again when as things calmed down and put it in his belt.

Don’t expect Revrun Sharpton’s minions here to even watch the videos, though, they are anti-cop ideologues and won’t let truth deter them from smearing the police.

THIS is an "article" http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/08/us/south-carolina-officer-is-charged-with-murder-in-black-mans-death.html?_r=0 But the video, which was taken by a bystander and provided to The New York Times by the Scott family’s lawyer, presents a different account. The video begins in the vacant lot, apparently moments after Officer Slager fired his Taser. Wires, which carry the electrical current from the stun gun, appear to be extending from Mr. Scott’s body as the two men tussle and Mr. Scott turns to run.

Nope, parts have not been released. What has been published must fit the narrative that staves off looting and rioting. He may be guilty of some charge, but definitely NOT 2nd degree murder, nor murder at all.

In the quoted NYT article, along with several other articles, Slager claims he shot Scott, then later the two fought on the ground and the wires tangled up between the two.

Taser wires are designed to break easily, and both men had taser wiring snagged on their bodies.

At no time has Slager ever claimed that he was shot with the taser prongs, “enhanced” video or no.

You would think that if Slager was shot with his own taser, he would have said so. He said that they fought over control of the taser.

And thank you for the compliment of calling me Genius. As a child, I was so bright that my father called me “Sun.”

“So are you claiming the Mr Scott somehow had a spare cartidge on him for some reason?”

The PD and the SO here both carry Tasers with a cartridge in the fire position and a spare in the grip.

What do you mean if I’m sincere I’ll digest the post? Who are you, my mommy? What a snooty patronizing thing to say. We’re just talking here and unless I’m mistaken you are NOT the controlling authority in this discussion.

From what you are posting here I suspect you really do think this shooting was ok but you don’t want to come right out and say it.

Some tasers have multiple cartridges loaded, and regardless can still deliver a jolt on contact when expended. Tasers came into vogue after my time but honestly, look at the totality of the prolonged chase, fight, etc., and the disinfo so far(I.e., turns out there was no warrant, so why DID he run? Car stolen) and this cop deserves a defense, even if it turns out he is guilty of something.

I strongly recommend staying on all analysis at The Conservative Treehouse, they helped exonerate Zimmerman and Wilson, and you will NOT find anywhere remotely near the facts they uncover in the media.

Definite possibility. The only thing this article shows is that the case is much more complex than a quick look at the video would show.

I continue to think that the Murder I charge is designed to pressure the cop to plead down to Manslaughter and make the thing go away as quickly as possible.

Once again....exactly how does one fire a taser TWICE without reloading the cartridge?????

“Mr. Scott ran away, and Officer Slager chased him into a grassy lot that abuts a muffler shop. He fired his Taser, an electronic stun gun, but it did not stop Mr. Scott, according to police reports.”
