Ted Cruz is definitely an alpha male, and would be a refreshing change w.r.t. Beta McConnell and Beta Boehner. I mean, how else would Ted have won the heart of somebody like Heidi?

As I always say, Kay Parker is a greater contributer to society than Katie Parker.
After 9/11, she had a period of conservative sanity because she realized what that meant for her kids’ futures. She seems to have decided that her kids don’t matter so much anymore...
And I think this speaks to the fact that the Washington media are really out of touch with real America. You know, the rest of the country has a completely different way of seeing things. And to those who feel like this Obama administration is characterized by government overreach and big government programs, if you’ve got someone like Ted Cruz, who as you say was a champion debater who is really very, very smart and he can articulate the opposite positions of Republicans and conservatives, they’re delighted to have Ted Cruz.
Media only likes to talk to each other. They are more concerned with how they sound, than what they say.
