I wonder which of the following comments would be considered "microaggression":
I don't like Obama.
I oppose gay marriage.
Christianity is superstition.
Jesus was an illegitimate child.
The Koran encourages Muslims to kill infidels.
Ted Cruz is a fascist.
Barack Obama is a fascist.
George Bush was a racist.
Jews control the media.
George Bush's father was a Nazi sympathizer.
Barack Obama is a Muslim.
George Bush had advance knowledge of the 9/11 attacks.
Homosexuality is a choice.
World War II was an inevitable result of capitalism.
Nazism was a Christian movement.
The Holocaust never happened.
The bombing of Hiroshima was justified.
The bombing of Hiroshima was not justified.
Illegal aliens should be deported.
Illegal aliens should be allowed citizenship and the right to vote.
Voter ID laws are racist.
Voter ID laws help to prevent voter fraud.
The federal tax code is too complicated.
The federal tax code - although imperfect - represents a broad consensus of bi-partisan thinking.
Businesses who refuse to service gay weddings should be prosecuted.
Businesses have the right not to serve gay weddings.
Michael Brown was a criminal who died resisting legitimate public authority.
Michael Brown was the victim of racist policing.
Michael Brown had his hands up.
Michael Brown did not have his hands up.
The Palestinians have many legitimate grievances.
Most of Israel's actions against the Palestinians have been justified.
The Catholic Church always supports despotism.
The Spanish Inquisition killed 10 million witches.
You could provide SOME evidence in support of most of these propositions, yet some of these propositions are mutually exclusive. A few are patent nonsense, and some are moral views that cannot be resolved through some universally accepted criterion of truth. But I wonder which of these propositions would generate claims of "microaggression," and which wouldn't. And which claims would be upheld, and which wouldn't.

The way it works is that each topic in your list must be reviewed by The Group. Depending on what The Group decides For The Good Of The Community, each topic will be judged Offensive, or Acceptable.
If, in response to any of these judgements, no matter what they are, you sigh, roll your eyes, fidget, or in any way respond without a big smile, head nodding and wide open eyes - then you are committing microaggression.

George Bush WAS a fascist? Was? When did he stop being a fascist? I am sure there is a micro-something there, you are so on the naughty list you might want to transfer to Cornell.
