It sometimes seems my parents and I are as divided as Congress, neither side understanding the others point of view.Actually, my experience is that Progressive leftists have absolutely no clue about what Conservatives actually believe. All they know is the straw man stereotypes, and the charges of conservatives being racist, anarchic fascists.

Do they issue tattoos in high school now? I was in the Army, a bouncer and a bodyguard, for goodness sakes, and I have never even seriously considered getting one.

“demanding that votes be counted. They werent, thanks to the Supreme Court, and George W. Bush was sworn in “
Did she not read that the NYTimes went back and counted the votes Gore sued to be re re re re re re recounted and Bush still won?

What on Earth does “Tea Party” mean to Leftists? I thought it meant “Taxed Enough Already”. Less taxes, right? To them, “Tea Party” seems to embody everything monstrous thing that they care to imagine.

I read every word of this dribble and she only Mentions Sarah Palin once, and she didn't even blame her for anything!
Salon is really losing it's touch.

Racist liberal snobs just HATE the idea of a Hispanic man running for President.
Hispanics should be trimming their hedges, cutting their grass, or quietly cooking their food in the restaurant’s kitchen, and voting how they are told to, no getting uppity, and such.

Come on, not even one? Heh, I thought about getting my old 2PPCLI cap badge on my forearm, then dismissed the idea.

We need to buy a small country in Africa and ship these freaks there so they can build utopia.

Sue, my dear, you are in for a rough ride. Let me tell you about a lady named Lucy Flucker. No laughter at her last name, please. She was the daughter of confirmed Tories in Boston in the mid 1700's, and she fell in love with a bookseller and gang fighter named Henry Knox. Now, Henry, he had these funny ideas about liberty and American independence and a friendship with a strange Virginian feller named George Washington. Lucy's parents fled Boston when the rebels besieged the place. She stayed with her love and together they started the greatest nation on the face of the planet.
I hope your daughter dreams big, Sue. And if you boarded a ship for elsewhere and just let us rebuild the country, we'd all be happier.

If she does, and ONLY if she does, will I then let her associate with my daughter.

Because it’s so easy to morph Tea Party into a homosexual slur that suits their purposes and single-minded fascination.

This women needs to be taken to task for bringing her child up in a heteronormative, bourgeois two parent traditional home. So right wing iit’s sickening. Plus, she and her husband are white.
