Geraldo Rivera told the Fox & Friends troika that Benjamin Netanyahu was a divisive and petty leader who had fractured U.S.-Israeli relations — as a certain mustachioed someone has been warning for years.
“If I were President Obama, I would have sent Bibi Netanyahu a congratulatory postcard by snail mail on a form written ‘congratulations on your recent election,’” Rivera said. “It is the appropriate thing to do to someone who has absolutely insulted the American constitutional system.”
“It caused a division in the U.S./Israeli relationship that has never existed before,” he continued. “And then for Bibi Netanyahu to run the campaign in a way that I believe was, to its core, made a racist appeal to Israeli hard-right voters to come out because these droves of these Palestinians are going to vote!”
As he predicted, Rivera got pushback for these points, as they have largely been characterized as liberal media’s sour grapes.
He then addressed Bibi’s three-step on the two-state solution, denouncing Netanyahu for oppressing Palestinians and turning Gaza into a “prison.”
“I sat in this very seat over the years and I looked at that camera and I said that Bibi Netanyahu told me to my face that there will never be an independent Palestine on his watch,” Geraldo said. “Bibi Netanyahu revealed his true self in this election.”

I turned off TV at that point when Geraldo went into his rant and didn’t turn it back on until the NCAA games got underway.
It’s entertainment and shock value.
I flipped over to AHC and watched some WWII history about the time he said the Paleostinians were living in a virtual prison.

I don't recall one insult from Bibi whatsoever. Congress is allowed, and often does, invite foreign leaders to address our Congress. It would be more of an insult to refuse to come. So... What insult do you speak of, Mr Rivera? Not bowing to Obama's every whim and scheme in supporting those who want to wipe Israel off of the map? That's who you want the Leader of Israel to avoid insulting?

Geraldo is either not smart enough to recognize a deliberately manufactured and false White House pretext when he hears one, or he's simply regurgitating talking points fed to him by the White House.
Either way he's a credulous fool.

Really? I hope so. Beckel is the main reason I never watch the 5.
And Beckel is the reason that I lost my last bit of respect for Hannity, who admitted / bragged on his radio show last year that Beckel has his own room in the Hannity home, lives there part time, and Hannity's kids call him "Uncle Bob".
Geraldo the man who has made so many war stories up in his reporting and told the occupy lot that they need to fight on and then harps on about how he is a republican. STFU Geraldo

One thing I can say for Beckel is that he’s been pretty solid that the whole “Islam is a religion of peace” thing is crap.
