Nice shotgun, but in regards to zombies, I have never figured out why someone would prefer a shotgun.

Cool looking, but it was reviewed in quite some detail and the early versions inspired a mind-blowing amount of user venom and hostility.

They might have cleared up the problems by now, though.

Why can’t I mix shells in a single magazine shotgun? It’s a question of the barrel or choke properly handling a slug vs “birdshot” as they say, but I believe I can load up with a mixture of each.

Also I think for killing zombies or anyone else you’d load up with buckshot, not birdshot.

Uts-15, be extra mindful of “short shucking” the action.
Same for keltec ksg.
Otherwise, I want both.

Good at ten yards, any closer and I would want a melee weapon, a machete or bat

The Turks make some fine scatterguns but I think I’d go with the Kel Tek KSG. 12 gage, 3” Dual mag (6X2 +1), pump action. MSRP $990. Made right here in Cocoa, FL. I don’t need another zombie gun though.

Oh, Kirsten Joy Weiss?
Yeah, I have been following her ever since she was on the We Like Shooting Podcast.
She’s the real deal.

Always keep a machete handy during a zombie attack. No need to reload it. Just wack and hack. Wipe clean. And repeat.

Time was, all you had to worry about was the deaders. Now, you never know when some poofter might be sneaking into your foxhole.

The thing that caught my attention second in the video
was the pump action even before it was discussed. The
slide was somewhat rougher than it should be from my POV.

As a zombie weapon I like the shotgun (12ga) for 3 reasons.
First, if you are in a hurry your aim does not have to
be as precise unless your buddy is in a zombie’s grasp.
Secondly, you have a chance at side by side targets.
And, third, since Fiocchi, Western, and Remington are
not likely producing ammo in zombie world it would seem
to be easier to have success foraging for 12ga shells
than many other munitions.

Looks neat, but wouldn’t be my first choice for zombies.

Perhaps we need a “What is your preferrred zombie weapon, and why?” PING list.

Neat gun...like the ammo capacity and versatility...
But the thing almost knocks this little girl off her feet every time she fires.
Seems a bit too much for her...
