Dear Hillary, Trey Gowdy would like to have a word with you about those private emails

“The Benghazi investigation is worthless.”

“Gowdy has wasted time and money.”

You’ve heard lefties make the same claims a thousand times over. Republicans shouldn’t be wasting their efforts on a Benghazi investigation because everyone involved is completely honest and above board. There are simply no secrets to be found.

...Until, that is, we found out about Hillary’s secret email accounts and servers. Yesterday, Trey Gowdy took a moment to point out that his work has now uncovered an entire swath of previously unknown secrecy within “the most transparent administration in history.” His “worthless” hearings suddenly seem a lot less worthless.

“The fact the Benghazi Committee was able to uncover this previously unknown, and before today unreported, information speaks to the need for the Benghazi committee,” Gowdy said. “The fact that fact the committee does not rush to trumpet every discovery we make speaks to my personal commitment to conduct a fair and impartial investigation into the Benghazi terrorist attack.”

As a result, Hillary has a whole new set of problems. First and foremost is that Trey Gowdy is not a guy you want digging into your illicit activities while you attempt to launch your Presidential bid.  It seems that Mr. Gowdy would very much like to see all of Hillary’s “unofficial” correspondence, and she’d better hope there are no gaps in the record.

As the Blaze reports, there’s no way the State Department can reasonably guarantee that it’s done its due diligence as long as Hillary is holding the messages hostage:

“They cannot certify that they have produced all of former Secretary Clinton’s emails because they do not have them or control them,” Gowdy said in a prepared statement for reporters.

“The Department of State is relying on Secretary Clinton herself and her attorneys and advisors to tell us, to tell you, what emails they think are to be preserved,” he added in that statement. Gowdy said it’s “nothing short of incredible” that any top official would use personal emails while in office, especially given past concerns from both parties about how that practice makes it hard to keep a record of their tenure in office.

With State unable to say it has all of Clinton’s emails, Gowdy said his committee has no choice but to press Clinton to turn over those emails.

“The State Department does not have all of the former Secretary’s emails on its servers, only she has the complete record,” his statement said. “And the committee is going to have to go to her, her lawyers and her email providers to ensure we have access to everything the American people are entitled to know.”

In case you missed it, yes, that’s a threat.

Hillary is sailing into some very hot water, particularly if she still thinks she’s the “inevitable” 2016 Democrat nominee.

I’m slowly coming to the conclusion that the Democrat’s means of dealing with scandal to generate so much scandal that people just roll their eyes when it comes out and ignore it.

So why is Gowdy afraid to call Hillary and testify under oath?

What Gowdy ought to do is use Hillary’s own words against her. She, while serving on the Nixon Watergate committee investigating Nixon, claimed that Nixon somehow was not allowed council.

Then there is Cheryl Mills. A Attorney with a sorted Past with the Clintons...Hillary’s attack dog. If she knew, which she had to if she received email from Hillary, that Hillary was using a unsecure non governmental email server circumventing the record keeping requirements for illegal purposes.

Mills needs to be frog marched for aiding and abetting multiple Federal Crimes, and conspiracy given Mills is the one that went overseas to attempt to keep Congressional Investigators (Including Chaffitz and Gowdy) From interviewing witnesses of the attack and events leading up to it.

Mr. Gowdy gets my vote!

I have not trusted Hillary since the time the knowledge about WhiteWater and the mysterious death of Vince Foster, who was supposed to be their friend.

So why is Gowdy afraid to call Hillary and testify under oath?

A good attorney doesn't ask a prospective criminal to testify before he knows the facts of the case. He'll get her there when he has the information he needs to nail her asp to the wall. Even if the Just-us Department fails to prosecute, he'll expose her. Probably all we can ask for at this point. He will point out her while she is on the witness stand just what difference it makes. I truly believe Gowdy is not fighting for America in this battle but rather the victims of Hillary's contempt, incompetent and corrupt actions while S of S. Abassador Stevens and the Men that died trying to save him.

We all believe what we chose to believe.

Issa brought her in and did not even put her under oath.

My prediction is Gowdy will never bring her in and put her under oath.

Why do Republicans need to destroy Hillary’s candidacy when Mitch McConnell and John Boehner already have the number one and number two spots sewed up for Democrats?

I predict Hillary will suddenly take Ill that put her out of the Campaign and make her unavailable for testimony, but she will gladly respond to written questions.

Issa is a Used car salesman. He did not know how to conduct an investigation and I also think he let others control his actions until he got Pissed then did something politically stupid.

Trey is a damned fine Attorney, Prosecutor and smart man. Time will tell...

I don’t think Gowdy’s going to plead his case until they’ll be found 100% guilty.

Trey is fine attorney and prosecutor.
His hands will be tied by GOP elites who think NOT laying a glove on a
woman (Clinton) will be politically beneficial.

Just the same as the GOP has not laid a glove on a black president.

Gowdy will never be allowed to call her and put her under oath.
And that should tell you the current state of the GOP.

Exactly. Gather the evidence first. Go over it, give some more state department stooges a chance to obstruct a congressional investigation, and don’t forget to ask the folks way down the food chain if they knew about the Clintler emails when they responded to the initial subpoenas.

The server will crash......unexpectedly......and all emails will be lost. Such a shame Hitlery won't be able to prove she is as pure as the driven snow. She was soooooo looking forward to the opportunity to confront the women hating, racist, vast right-wing conspiracy nuts head-on. Oh well, maybe next time.
