SAN PEDRO (CBSLA.com) A good Samaritan walked three miles to get a dog that was left tied to a light post to an animal shelter.
The abandoned 1-year-old pointer mix named Joey was found by Lisa Snyder wandering Point Fermin Park in San Pedro after breaking free from the light post.
Joey had a handwritten note attached to his collar that stated: My name is Joey. I am looking for a home. Please take care of me!!

They both need a good home. This woman w/her cats and the dog too. Hope they both find happy homes somewhere.
I hope they catch whoever tied Mrs Snyder to a lamp post. I also hope Joey gets a good home.
I hope the author takes some English grammar lessons.
Maybe she thinks she will get a car like the guy who walked to work.
My husband, as a young manager, learned it is racist to send Black employees to remedial Business English classes. He did it because he knew the poor writing and speaking skills would sink a smart and creative young employee he wanted to succeed.
Sure enough, she got nowhere fast. Everyone stopped helping her...she was dangerous.
“Maybe she thinks she will get a car like the guy who walked to work.”
A volunteer with my rescue is thinking about a gift card for the lady and her cats. She does not need a car. Because she lives out of her van she may be hard to find.
