Call a wah-bulance. The 80s sucked for a lot of reasons, music one. It's definitely not saying a lot but J.Geils and INXS are the best song of the remaining four.

There's something about you girl,
That makes me SWEAT!

Haha!!!

“Centerfold”? That song is flat-out ANNOYING. I couldn’t stand it then and still don’t now. No wonder they were one hit wonders if you can even call that song a ‘hit’. They weren't 1-hit wonders, though (maybe just 2-hit wonder). I don't like the subject matter, but the music is great. “Shout” and “Head Over Heels” are much better songs by Tears For Fears IMO. “Everybody Wants to....” is dull dull dull. I would agree. TFF break-out hit is only so-so for me. But, I like it better now than I did then. “Crazy Little Thing...” isn’t my favorite Queen song. Better stuff in the ‘70’s. Same here, although I like it. I am surprised it was rated this highly. I was quite aware of it, but never figured it was so high on the charts. "INXS? Are you serious?" Great song!

Fine, Centerfold it is, but I’m hiding it under the mattress. Hey, it IS the 80’s!

Darn, I missed the entire tournament. Am I still eligible to vote for the final four?

No idea what this is all about, but this is the best rock song of the 80’s or any era:

Anyone can vote any time. Even if you don’t vote the whole ticket.

Good song. #4 for ‘85, but lost in our contest in the top 32 round.

Still say it’s the best rock song ever written:

Love the last part where all the other singers come in.

Don’t know what kind of contest you guys are running, (missed out on the beginning),but this should be of interest:

By the way, ‘We Will Rock You’ was Queen’s best..but that was in 1977

PS

Followed closely by ‘We Are The Champions’.
How on earth did you guys come up with ‘A Little Thing Called Love? :)

And did you know Freddie Mercury is rated one of the greatest if not the greatest r&r singers ever?
