It’s only a matter of time.
The neighboring town of Al-Baghdadi is said to be 90 percent under ISIS control. Even Pentagon flak, ADM John Kirby, admits the main air base at Al-Asad, where more than 300 U.S. Marines have been training Iraqi troops, is under daily mortar attack.
The most recent attack, on the base itself, was conducted by 25 ISIS terrorists, all of whom were killed before the fight was over. Several of the fanatics were wearing explosive vests they detonated before they could be slain.
This was obviously a probe. A much-larger attack is only days or a few weeks away. The Obama bootlickers in the Pentagon Public Affairs Office would have us believe the daily mortar attacks on the main base are “infrequent” and “ineffective.” But how long before the Marines find themselves under heavier bombardment, surrounded and unable to be safely extracted from the bull’s eye they presently occupy?
WHAT IF THE WORST HAPPENS?
A Marine always fights best when he is on the offense. We learned a bitter lesson about that at Khe Sanh in Vietnam. So did the French at Dien Bien Phu.
What is the plan, or is there one?
God forbid the ISIS captures even one Marine in the fighting to come, puts him in a cage and sets him afire. Will Hussein stop his golf game at Palm Springs long enough to...

Probably, he abandoned the guys in Benghazi. Why wouldn’t he leave these guys to die?

I would handle this the same way we handled the NVA at Khe Sanh. B-52’s, on station, 24x7, carpet bomb in big rectangular perimeters, over and over and over until the perimeter is just bounced rubble.
I agree... although he's taken precautions against that, and military power seizures bring their own problems.
As was the case with the beheadings, the media has grown tired of the burnings and isn't paying much attention. ISIS is going to have to come up with something even more dramatic to get America's attention again.

They did not cover the fiasco they did in Yemen and will not cover this either because they know it will hurt their messiah and their leftist agenda.
Obama won’t lift a finger until his “strategic patience” team has the media on their side to completely ignore Obama abondoning our troops. Obama only cares about the optics and if there was a chance that Vjayjay thinks any action will make him look bad he won’t do anything. I do think someone would go above his head and evacuate the troops. That person would be crucified by the media.
Hopefully none, they still have edged weapons.
