I think that they should make a movie of Brian’s life you know have him interact with famous people he met throughout his life even some who past away. Have him hearing Mother Teresa confession, Brian at the march in Selma standing behind Doctor King, Assisting Dr. Christian Barnard by letting him use his extra heart for a transplant, shooting down a Jap zero from the deck of the Arizona right before it goes down... And in between scenes they could have him sitting on a bus bench issuing thoughtful and deep philosophical thoughts. Now wouldn’t that make a GREAT movie? ;-)

This could only happen because Brian is the best friend of Bubba Gump.

When newsies lie they are expected to do it with subtlety. As I read the FR thread Suzanne linked in this article I decided Brian Williams was likely toast. Those who bring that level of mockery and public shame on their hallowed profession cannot survive for long. Great work, FReepers!

What do CBS’ Dan Rather and NBC’s Brian Williams have in common? Fake but accurate news reporting, that's what. It IS what these media charlatans do, America.
