Hi FRiends, I have a prayer request for a second grade girl who went to school with my daughter last year before moving away. She has some kind of meningitis that is threatening her life. It is a frightening situation! Please see the comment for details. Thank you!!!
Jane is still fighting the fight. She is going into Surgery to gauge the brain pressure. Her church and school in MN "Nativity" is doing a Prayer service tonight for her at 5pm. Please stop whatever you are doing at 5 pm to say a prayer for her. She is only in 2nd grade! Prayers of healing! Thank You! C----
Note from Jane's Caring Bridge site: Dear family and friends, Our focus has been and will continue to be on general, holistic support for sweet Jane. The challenging fact is that the doctors still do not know exactly what is causing Jane's cranial pressure. Tests have been negative for expected, potential viruses. Cultures have not grown bacteria. Labs are in the grey area between virus and bacteria. Extremely bad luck. And tough to battle an unknown enemy. So what the doctors want to know is what her cranial pressure is. This is the reason for the procedure she's currently having done for her. That knowledge will help inform our next moves to support her incredibly brave fight. We have a talented neuro surgeon with the experience Jane needs who has joined the team this morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with him to help Jane now. We also hope and pray for a relatively low cranial pressure. That's the focus now in this minute by minute, hour by hour fight. And of course we continue most of all to keep our positive energy, prayers, hope and belief in strong Jane. Thank you for the continued support. We feel it. We're grateful. And we're so lucky for every extra moment we have to fight with Jane. Praying for the positive turn, happy to be patient, more than willing to play the long game to support Jane.
