Supreme Court Will Likely Support Homosexual Marriage
Leo McNeil ^ | January 19, 2015 | Leo McNeil

The Supreme Court is going to once again review the issue of homosexual marriage. Last time around the Court punted on ruling whether states had the Constitutional right to outlaw such “marriages.” This time around they won’t be punting. Odds are by the end of June the Supreme Court will dictate to the country that sodomites have the legal right to marry. Our nation will finally have stooped to the point where we’re no better than Sodom and Gomorrah. Marriage was ordained by God in the Garden of Eden, it has lasted since that time as an institution involving one man and one woman. The progressive elites in this country want to toss aside God’s ordination and nature in order to allow sexual deviants to marry. Our Supreme Court will go right along with them.

There is nothing normal about homosexual relations. Deep down, the people calling themselves homosexuals know this. Men engaging in anal sex with one another know that what they’re engaging in isn’t natural and it isn’t normal. Those advocating for acceptance of that which is not normal or natural really don’t care about homosexuals in the least. Their only goal is overthrowing the historic Christian order in the west. They’ve been wildly successful at this. Even the 60’s hippies found homosexuals perverse and appalling. As recently as a decade ago the overwhelming majority of Americans opposed homosexual marriage. As our nation continues its moral decay, today a healthy majority support homosexual marriage. Among the young, the numbers are overwhelming. These are people who have spent their whole lives being told of the virtues of homosexuals in government schools and the media.

We Christian conservatives are rightly appalled at the notion that homosexual marriage is going to be the law of the land. We should hardly be surprised though. The religious right has for decades been fooling itself about the founding of this country and its Christian roots. Yes, up until a century ago the people of this nation generally followed Christian morality. However the Constitution from its creation abandoned God. We are the first western nation in history to create a government absent God. The Constitution’s first line declares that power to govern comes from the people rather than from God. There is a direct line from the abandonment of God in the Constitution to homosexual marriage today. The rank and file people of this country didn’t abandon God overnight but after two centuries of godless government, a godlessness that has been increasingly strident in the last 50-60 years, we’ve come to the point of complete abandonment.

Christians abandoned God when we tolerated a Constitution devoid of any mention of him, to say nothing of not covenanting with him. Since our nations founding one by one major institutions have turned from God. Harvard used to be a Christian seminary, now it pumps out pseudo-intellectual nonsense. Princeton was also once a great Christian seminary, today it hands out A’s to people like Michelle Obama who whined about being black in her senior thesis. The YMCA once was a Christian missionary organization, reaching out to the poor. Today it’s a gym with no connection whatsoever to the Christian faith. If we go back to the founding of this country, work on the Sabbath (Sunday) was outlawed and even if it wasn’t outlawed it was viewed as a desecration of the Lord’s Day. Today, even Christians defend going shopping, going to restaurants or working on Sunday. The abandonment of God by the people in this country has been gradual and it can be seen in much more than big issues like abortion and homosexual marriage.

Christians need to stop kidding themselves about what this nation is and what it represents. We need to stop pretending like this was always a great Christian nation, a shining city on a hill. In reality, our government abandoned God in the Constitution. The result of that has been a gradual shift from the Church and Godly morality to the cesspool of godlessness that we are faced with today. This is so even within Christian churches, many of whom have adopted progressive theology. (I’ll leave whether these are still Christian churches for another post) If we want this nation to return to the Christian faith we must obviously pray for a revival in this country. From there we must replace “we the people” with “Christ is King.” If we think it can’t get any worse than homosexual marriage, make no mistake the progressives will come up with something. Their end goals are very clear, they’re even out in the open about them. How they achieve those goals remains to be seen of course. For Christians, we need to look to scripture rather than the Constitution. We need to look to God’s word and how that word has been interpreted not by the recent church but by the historic church. It’s clear the recent church has shifted along with the nation, we must reject that and return to historic protestant and early church theology and doctrine. Until we in the church do that, we can expect the country to move further into a moral cesspool.

If they do then it’ll be a 5 to 4 decision with Kennedy making the difference.

With only three suspected gays on the court, what makes them think that?

I live in about as rednecked and racist community as one could be and we all were awakened a few months ago to the existence of the GSA (gay/straight alliance) club in our high school.

Many community members are gelled around this issue and it has opened our minds and minds' eyes to what we think is a small clique of suspected queer teachers.

The club came into being three or four years ago (no one is sure) and I'm trying to learn information about its genesis

The lack of co-operation and information is surprising to us

RE :”Supreme Court Will Likely Support Homosexual Marriage”

Support it?

The SCOTUS will impose it on all the states.

The above sanitized language is designed to make the act sound more warm and friendly and optional. But it won't be, the SCOTUS will tell states who they must marry and more photographers and bakeries will be given huge fines for not publicizing perverted acts.

But since the GOP is now pro-gay rights now too there will be few (who can be heard) complaining.

From what I can tell the GOP only differs with Dems on :1) taxes, 2) War, 3) long term entitlements(10 years out or more)

It shouldn’t surprise you that the government schools are trying to prevent parents in the community from finding out about their leftist, godless activities. One of the chief purposes of government education, as stated when the progressives started pushing it a century ago, was that it would separate children from their parents. In particular, it would separate children from the morality of their parents.

The schools are doing just that, they’ve been pushing homosexuality for a couple decades now. Your community might not be as far along the road of godless progressivism but it’s getting there. In fact, the progressives are specifically targeting your community and every other community where parents are either holding out on this issue or where the issue hasn’t been pushed much yet.

I believe in a separation of education and state. I am convinced that one of the best ways we can protect the future generation from godless progressivism is to get Christians to remove their children from government schools. Are young children are not a light in the darkness, we need to stop pretending like our kids are influencing others with the gospel. The reality is that Christian children are being targeted by the left (read: Satan) and destroyed.

Did you read the entire post? If you think I’ve sanitized this post with warm, friendly language then you obviously didn’t read what I had to say.

As I always like to point out, if you actually care about “why Muslims hate us” and if you actually read jihadist forums, you’ll see that they mention gay marriage at least as often as Palestine or the Iraq war.

People should never forget that SSM is deeply offensive to probably 90% of the world’s population, and a wholesale embrace of it will have consequences.

I’m sure it’s just an alliance not a club setup to convert straights into gays..../s

The problem though is that homosexual acts are largely tolerated in much of the Muslim world. Perhaps this is one of the Sunni/Shia differences.

forcing the country to go along with a sexual deviancy against our will ... is the same as rape.

they are forcing themselves on us

how is that not rape?

At this point I question whether it would be forcing the country (in reality individual states) against their will. I rather suspect that if referendums were held on this subject it would pass most states. I agree the Supreme Court has no business overturning state laws on this subject. However, what can we expect from a godless supreme court upholding an equally godless constitution?

Get your derangements straight - pedophilia homosexuality is largely tolerated in much of the Muslim world.

Adult homosexuality will get you thrown from roof tops, hung, stoned to death, disemboweled, and any number of other deaths in much of the Muslim world.

Nice article, but I disagree with your premise. The Constitution didn't leave God; like always, it was We The People who left God! Just like God gives us our own free will to follow Him, so too did the U.S. Constitution. And since it's inception, there have been forces working to separate Christians from Christ, via the Constitution. The problem is that we have let them!

Reason tell you heterosexuality and homosexuality are clearly not equivalent and the law and anyone else are being irrational to say that are the same...

Gay is of no.matter to.me.. but an attack on truth is. it is the death of truth and reason .it the state telling you 2+2=5.. and ultimately that is the point of the whole exercise

To the surprise of no one, of course.

I’m very glad that God is a majority of one.

I believe in a separation of education and state.

That is why I favor vouchers. K-12 can be government funded without being delivered in government union monopoly schools. Let the dollars follow the student. Let the parents shape curriculum by avoiding schools that teach contrary to their values.
