That is why I favor vouchers. K-12 can be government funded without being delivered in government union monopoly schools. Let the dollars follow the student. Let the parents shape curriculum by avoiding schools that teach contrary to their values.
If the government funds education vouchers then the government can dictate what sort of education may be received with their money. I would rather the state have no say in education whatsoever.
