Reminds me of a conversation a buddy had with some black dudes about certain things, and they said, in an equivocal manner: "no way man, they got that funk"
Also, speaking as a white woman who has fairly long, very naturally curly hair, Negroid hair and curly Caucasian hair share some characteristics. Both tend to be very dry, and what oil is produced can’t work its way down the curly shaft. So we have to work to replace that missing oil.
If I washed my hair every day, I would have a frizzy mess. I use shampoo every four days, and the rest of the time I clean my hair with conditioner—”co-wash”—boosted with a little coconut oil. I run it through, scrub my scalp, and leave some in. It makes my hair look great, and it’s clean but not stripped.
Negroid hair is fragile and breaks easily, but my hair is stronger and more wiry. I’m not sure what method is used for dreadlocks...I would think nothing much can be done.

There is definitely truth to that.
If one is going to do certain things, then it helps if certain things are done in advance of that, and the possibility of those necessary things not occurring are high or at least higher, I would say, with certain ladies.

I once worked with a very attractive woman with blonde hair and a model’s face and figure who would often come to work out of breath just in time to avoid being late. She would be heard to utter: “didn’t have time to shower so I just did a PTA wash”. I found out what PTA wash meant and almost fell out of my chair. For a guy I guess the equivalent would be a CBA wash.
We used to have interesting discussions with some of the guys we worked with during my short stay in North Carolina. Some black guys were open and friendly, others very hostile. Early 70's. Guess the Great Society had not started the destruction enough.

I do remember once at the gym, a few years back. There was this black guy and he smelled really bad - not an underarms smell, but an unusual bad stink.
He looked really fit and even left in a suit.
I did notice that he left without taking a shower after his sweaty workout.
I don’t care how much of a hurry I’m in - a shower after working out is a must.
so is she implying that ethnic groups as a whole are not interested in water conservation efforts?
