A new poll out Thursday from the Pew Research Center shows nearly one in five Americans believe President Barack Obama is a Muslim.

A new national survey by the Pew Research Center finds that nearly one-in-five Americans (18%) now say Obama is a Muslim, up from 11% in March 2009. Only about one-third of adults (34%) say Obama is a Christian, down sharply from 48% in 2009. Fully 43% say they do not know what Obama’s religion is. The survey was completed in early August, before Obama’s recent comments about the proposed construction of a mosque near the site of the former World Trade Center.

To re-emphasize, this survey was completed before Obama announced his support for the mosque to be built at Ground Zero where reports say the landing gear from Muhammad Atta’s plane crashed through the roof of the building directly on the proposed mosque site.

In a Time magazine poll conducted after the announcement, the number rises to nearly one in four.

In a separate poll by Time magazine/ABT SRBI conducted Monday and Tuesday — after Obama’s comments about the mosque — 24 percent said they think he is Muslim, 47 percent said they think he is Christian and 24 percent didn’t know or didn’t respond. The Obama apologists were out in force blaming talk radio, and more specifically Rush Limbaugh, for causing people to believe our president is a Muslim.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi delivered a possibly epochal speech at Al-Azhar University on New Year's Day. More than a thousand years old, Al-Azhar is considered by many to be the epicenter of scholarly Islam. Addressing the assemblage of imams in the room, al-Sisi called for a "religious revolution" in which Muslim clerics take the lead in rethinking the direction Islam has taken recently. An excerpt (as translated by Raymon Ibrahim's website):

"I am referring here to the religious clerics (said Al Sisi). … It's inconceivable that the thinking that we hold most sacred should cause the entire umma (Islamic world) to be a source of anxiety, danger, killing and destruction for the rest of the world. Impossible!

"That thinking — I am not saying 'religion' but 'thinking' — that corpus of texts and ideas that we have sacralized over the centuries, to the point that departing from them has become almost impossible, is antagonizing the entire world. It's antagonizing the entire world! ... All this that I am telling you, you cannot feel it if you remain trapped within this mindset. You need to step outside of yourselves to be able to observe it and reflect on it from a more enlightened perspective. "I say and repeat again that we are in need of a religious revolution. You, imams, are responsible before Allah. The entire world, I say it again, the entire world is waiting for your next move … because this umma is being torn, it is being destroyed, it is being lost — and it is being lost by our own hands."

The courage of president, Al- Sisi, put him on par to Anwar Sadat among the greatest leaders of the Muslim world.

That is in stark contrast with Obama, our taqiyya Muslim president, who has never condemned the “Islamic terrorists” as such. He is a de facto enabler of the Islamic terrorism; otherwise he would never set free the worst of the worst Islamic terrorists that were imprisoned in Gitmo. Obama absence from the show of support for the people of France in the Paris’ demonstration of solidarity against terrorism, a united rally where most of the important leaders of the world were present, makes it clear here his heart is.

Obama is (IMO) ruining it for any other black presidential candidates for a long, long time. Even someone who is easy to like and trust like a Ben Carson, may scare the average voter away. Our experience as a nation has collectively been that bad. The thing is, this was not completely a Trojan Horse situation, where everyone was fooled. I wasn’t.

And many times Obama said exactly what kind of a leader he would make; “Oil prices would necessarily skyrocket”, Even though heavy capitol gains taxes would deflate and weaken our economy, I would impose them anyway ‘as a matter of fairness’. People either heard him as is, or saw what they wished to see and nothing more. This has been a hard lesson for all of us for differing reasons.

Search “church bells silenced”. It has happened in many cities. However, the howling of muslims is A-Ok.
