I like it too
I like it too :^)
if he is as bad as summarized here, how does he win in N. Idaho Bill? How does he attract voters there?
He isn't, really. "La Raza operative" is over the top, IMHO. He's quite good at appreciating local issues and saying the right thing, but doing the right thing has to await an opportunity, and he just blew his.
do you think N Idaho voters now know this and will not re-elect him?
Labrador had a lot of support here, I remember. I wonder how Vaughn Ward would have comported himself.
At the moment they will not, IMHO. Labrador is hoping Boehner can run enough interference so his decision won’t look like a total disaster, and reading between the lines I would guess that’s what Boehner promised to do. It will depend on his challenger but right now I wouldn’t bet on this particular incumbent.
I could care less about La Raza, and more about his supportin statehood for the Third World welfare case that is Puerto Rico.
I also told Lap brador the same thing in 3 emails over the last 2 weeks...with no reply back. Im in Northern Idaho and voted for the turncoat. I will Not vote for him again. The Constitution Party up here is gaining traction. Christian Fivorvanti(spelling) got about 30% this election. Not bad for a kid in his twenties.
The district also includes southern Idaho as the 2 districts are split north to south.
But, but, two years ago Labrador was the True Conservative Hero that would wrest the Speakership from Boehner despite not having the votes. I guess that he’s now a RINO, just like Jim Jordan, Tom McClintock, Marsha Blackburn, Sam Johnson, etc., etc., etc.
I would love for the House to have Jordan as Speaker, Blackburn as Leader and Labrador as Whip. But when the Hiuse GOP Conference met in November, no one showed any interest in replacing Boehner and his team and no one challenged him. Throwing a tantrum on the House floor, with no plan and no agenda, was a retarded idea, which is why so many conservative congressmen—people far more conservative than Daniel Webster (who is fine for his district, but is no Jim Jordan)—held their noses and voted for Boehner.
“I told Mr. Labrador in no uncertain terms what his vote meant. Hes done in northern Idaho.”

Bill, once there is a willing CREDIBLE (non Amnesty Promoting) constitutional conservative challenger for Labrador, let us know. I can’t vote for him/her (I’m temporarily stuck in Maryland) but can donate to the unseating campaign.
We must NEVER forget this betrayal by those of our representatives are FAUX conservatives. And we must act EARLY to unseat them.

This is beginning to sound like a GOPe TALKING POINT. I guess the GOPe is adopting the ‘RAT tactic of putting out talking points on a routine basis.
Yeah, your “strategy” of waiting until the week before the Speaker election to start throwing out random names of “Speaker candidates,” some of whom are less conservative than Boehner, and then throwing a hissy when it fails spectacularly, is a real winner. And as for you accusing me of being “GOPe,” stick it where the sun don’t shine. Just because I’m not a mouth-breather like you doesn’t mean that I’m not a 100% conservative.
“...Just because Im not a mouth-breather like you doesnt mean that Im not a 100% conservative.”

Well, that’s a “subtle” variation on Mia Love’s and Raúl Rafael Labrador’s statements to the effect that “just because I voted for Boehner doesn’t mean I’m not a 100% conservative”.
Ditto. Who will run against him? Whoever it will be, he has two years to gather support. I’ll listen.
IIRC some people were always down on Labrador, calling him a La Raza guy, because he was an immigration lawyer. Evidence? Who needs evidence?
>>>Throwing a tantrum on the House floor, with no plan and no agenda, was a retarded idea>>>
And doomed from the start. Which is a good reason for people to cool off about it.
Labrador was a pro-amnesty RINO in 2010; by 2012, he was a conservative hero that would deliver us from that RINO Boehner; now in 2015, he’s back to being a worthless RINO. All of this must be true, because several people posted it on FR.
I was thinking what the hell is he bringing up PR in an Idaho congressional debate.
