Top aides to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio reportedly urged his political allies to blast the city’s police union and rank-and-file officers for turning their backs on the mayor during the funeral for one of two NYPD cops assassinated earlier this month.

The website DNAinfo.com reported Tuesday that members of de Blasio’s government affairs staff began contacting Democratic state and city officials Monday asking them to publicly criticize Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association President Patrick Lynch.

While this was going on, the website reported, de Blasio himself was setting up a meeting with the heads of five police unions in an effort to repair a relationship that has been stretched close to a total breaking point in recent weeks.

“City Hall wanted me to blast the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association for turning their backs on him,” one legislator told the site. “They ... said they were calling all of us, and that it was our obligation to stand up defending the mayor.” The legislator described the tenor of the call as being “because they were calling that we should do whatever they ask.”

It was clear before the 2008 election that Obama and his associates see themselves as revolutionaries, fighting for a new order which they would control.

I have believed for six years that his endgame is to never leave office, but rather to become a Castro/Chavez/Lenin/Hitler type dictator.

The new, diverse United States has so many groups which resent and oppose the good which Christian America represented that a cunning and unscrupulous player such as Obama can wield them as a destructive force in order to gain such power.

I don’t know how this will play out, and God willing the United States will resist these attacks. The Obama administration has issued new exemptions to a law that bars certain asylum-seekers and refugees who provided “limited material support” to terrorists who are believed to pose no threat from the U.S.

The Department of Homeland Security and the State Department published the new exemptions Wednesday in the Federal Register to narrow a ban in the Immigration and Nationality Act excluding refugees and asylum seekers who had provided limited material support, no matter how minor, to terrorists.

“These exemptions cover five kinds of limited material support that have adversely and unfairly affected refugees and asylum seekers with no tangible connection to terrorism: material support that was insignificant in amount or provided incidentally in the course of everyday social, commercial, family or humanitarian interactions, or under significant pressure,” a DHS official explained to The Daily Caller.
