Please pray for my uncle. This is a shock and the outcome looks dire.
I will pray for you all tonight.
Will pray for you and your family, you’ve certainly had more than your share of sadness in recent years. We’ll pray your uncle will survive and be OK.

Prayers for your dear uncle. Sudden tragedies are the crosses we bear for being human.
“Falls are really serious for older people and I reluctantly am beginning to enter that territory.
My Father fell and broke his hip and thigh bone when he was around 87, in 4 places. The bones healed pretty well but he never walked again. He died in a nursing home at age 90.”

That is the big problem, the lack of movement, of getting around. Apparently they have to use a huge swing sort of get-up to have my Dad get to the bathroom. It’s not good to be confined to the bed.
Last spring, he had surgery to heal a hip fracture after he fell. He’s a tough man, but you can only fall so many times, endure so many infections, before you just get tired and want to “go home.”
May the angels attend his soul as his body tries to heal.

An “Our Father” is on the way. FReepers have helped me recently praying for my father who had a pulmonary embolism recently.
