Hacking Collective Anonymous Says FBI Is Lying, "North Korea Is Not Source Of Hack"

Having confirmed unequivocally, in a statement by the FBI and reiterated by President Obama, that "the North Korean government is responsible" for hacking Sony, it appears the YouTube-less 'evidence' the FBI provided is being questioned by the hacking-collective 'Anonymous' and former Lulzsec hacker Sabu. As The Daily Beast reports, the hackers blasted, the North Koreans "don’t have the technical capabilities," and added "we all know the hacks didn't come from North Korea, and "all of the evidence FBI cites would be trivial things to do if a hacker was trying to misdirect attention to DPRK." Meanwhile, on Saturday afternoon, Guardians of Peace, the hacking group that’s so far claimed responsibility for wreaking havoc on Sony, posted a message online mocking the FBI’s investigation - a series of gyrating animated bodies shrieking, "You are an idiot!"

As you are puzzling....
Read several weeks before this Sony attack occurred that a high ranking Chicom said they would not support the Norks in the event of war with the South or the US. Thought it odd at the time.

I will let you do the google as I have limited connectivity right now.

Now a US based division of a Japanese owned entertainment company mocking the Norks gets hacked and humiliated with the blame lain at Nork doorstep.

Seems tailor made to solve a Chicom burden of a crazy relative by whacking the Norks at US expense.

Thoughts?

On Saturday afternoon, Guardians of Peace, the hacking group that’s so far claimed responsibility for wreaking havoc on Sony, posted a message online mocking the FBI’s investigation.
It is as follows:

“By GOP
The result of investigation by FBI is so excellent that you might have seen what we were doing with your own eyes.
We congratulate you success.
FBI is the BEST in the world.
You will find the gift for FBI at the following address.”
Then, they included a link to the following video titled “you are an idiot!”—essentially Rickrolling the FBI.

&&&
That message reads as though it had been written by someone who does not have English as his primary language.

Well, it would solve a lot of problems for a communist loving tyrant.

Create nice diversion from impeachable offenses
Legalize all sorts of new methods of cracking down on dissent
Maybe start a real war with N.Korea to jump start manufacturing
Kick the 'national police force' into high gear

They could feed their people they choose not to.

Sad to think I’d believe the Norks before I’d believe this administration.

On a technical level, they are correct —the attacks physically originate from a large hotel in CHINA.

But that hotel is a China/DPRK joint-venture, and the DPRK has their cyber-warfare assets stationed there (good fiber, reliable, fast connection).

Unusual, but in the DPRK’s case, this makes sense.

How about that...

The Secret Service look inept, the police are ALL being painted as racist thugs, the IRS sure hasn’t been looking too good.

Now we have Hollywood kicked in the teeth, a symbol of American culture and a propaganda arm of the US.

The FBI is having it’s turn in the barrel with this. The Boston bombing already made them look inept.

The United States is being stripped naked on the worlds stage for all to laugh at and mock. I don’t intend to laugh, it is breaking my heart.

What’s next? The Statue of Liberty?

The message from the group has errors which sound fake, toss in a few grammatical errors to appear like North Koreans.

“”The result of investigation by FBI is so excellent that you might have seen what we were doing with your own eyes,” reads the message, which then links to a YouTube video. “We congratulate you success. FBI is the BEST in the world.””

Sort of.The censorship doesn’t have to be overt, like the Congress passing laws or the Sultan decreeing. NSA can do this to several companies and carry through with the threat-to-release once and the media folks will figure out which subjects are taboo. Then they move to the ISPs.

The chi-coms take down a Japanese company which is US based.
Y’all know that, right? Sony’s head is a Japanese, and they run the US business in entertainment.

So this is a Chi-com operation on the Japs as part of their continuing imperial provocation on sea lanes, islands and a lot else. Why is this hard for FBI to understand.

The Norks do not have the sophistication or the networks to pull this off, but what they ARE is a client state for China to blame for it.

This makes sense, not the FBI. But then, when you have idiot Caroline Kennedy as the Ambassador to Japan— well, not much will come out of that relationship.

Right. If you look at who benefits the most from this, all signs point to Obama and his comrades via the NSA, not North Korea which is an easy misdirection. (see Al Sharpton taking about sitting at the table making decisions about films and executives).

I believe it. The Norks have barely transitioned out of the vacuum tube days. Their people live in abject poverty and I just can’t see these super hacker types coming out of that closed society.

The sheer scale and duration of sustained attacks against such a wide set of industries from a singularly identified group based in China leaves little doubt about the organization behind APT1. We believe the totality of the evidence we provide in this document bolsters the claim that APT1 is Unit 61398. Exposing One of China’s Cyber Espionage Units

Seems irresponsible / insane for any top notch “official” espionage group to reveal themselves and leave such a trail over a movie....a comedy at that.

If such a group under my control with a valuable skill set ultimate mission to disable and disrupt a nations digital infrastructure during war time was giving the potential enemies a “preview” of our abilities I would be making that arrow in my quiver useless when it was really needed.

This was over a movie..... I can understand norks doing stupid crap, it genetic for those spork weasels but an official unit for electronic / digital warfare ?

I respect what was discovered but remain skeptical as to validity due the value of such tools and the damage to said tool when previewed to an enemy that will develop countermeasures for such as encountered.......

Chinese steal Intel and design, they don’t share or give away such without a reason.....if they did on purpose, in my opinion, there are bigger fish in this pond at play aside a movie.....

Just my take, opinion....right or wrong, just mine.

Stay safe Phil , Merry Christmas !
