Cromnibus Betrayal
Canada Free Press ^ | 12/14./14 | Douglas V. Gibbs

Democrats and Republicans alike are protecting the power structure at all costs, even if it means voting against their platform, and against the United States Constitution they took an oath to protect and defend.

Sixty-seven Republicans chose to vote against the $1.1 trillion CR-Omnibus budget bill on December 11, 2014. Despite the refusal of the more conservative Republicans to support the bill, the Republican establishment was able to pull in enough Democrats, 57, to vote for the bill.

The bill passed 219 to 206, and the voters that gave the Republican Party a majority going into 2015 saw their leverage go up in smoke. The bill funds Obama’s unconstitutional immigration executive actions, funds Obamacare, and provides funding for a myriad of leftist dreams like Michelle Obama’s school lunch fiasco. . . yet these are the same Republicans that claimed to be against these policies when each of them emerged.

The 1,700 page bill was read by nobody, and passed about two hours before the deadline that would have caused a government shutdown.

The ultimate betrayal. The GOP sure lowered the boom on its base. Boehner and McConnell delivered a huge victory for Obama.

Traitors to their oaths and traitors to the electorate. Traitors.

We used to hang traitors by their necks until dead in this country.

A practice I for one would like to see brought back.

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”
Marcus Tullius Cicero

These are the ONLY Republicans who voted against the rule...or to prevent this atrocity from going to the floor (the rest are traitors, all)...

Justin Amash (R-MI), Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Dave Brat (R-VA), Mo Brooks (R-AL), Paul Broun (R-GA), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Tim Huelskamp (R-KS), Walter Jones (R-NC), Jim Jordan (R-OH), Steve King (R-IA), Raul Labrador (R-ID), Tom Massie (R-KY), Bill Posey (R-FL), Matt Salmon (R-AZ) and Steve Stockman (R-TX).

So we suffer through six years of Obama and the Democraps, we pull together and deliver a historical win to the Republicans and this is what we get. HORRIBLE.

Yup, the GOP just rubber-stamped and gave what was once a defacto Imperial Fascist Oligarchy, LEGITIMACY.

You just witnessed the final nail in the coffin of the Republic.

We are now officially, an Imperial Fascist Dictatorship with a rubber-stamp Federal Party Oligarchy.

And it was the GOP who made that happen.

Traitors and scum.

Enemies of liberty.

All of them.

Who here believes that this 1700 page budget was hammered out in the past 2 or three weeks?

This tar baby was prepared months ago by the GOP House ruling thugs and sat in a drawer.

When did Boehner’s posse tack on the billion dollars for amnesty?

The GOP is to the Democrats as the Washington Generals are to the Harlem Globetrotters. Different uniforms, same paymasters, set up to fool all the people all the time.

it was all about defeating the incoming freshmen and “putting them under the thumb” of the inside the beltway commissars.

“inside the beltway” should be equal to a term of derision.

for those “inside the beltway” when they say “outside the beltway” it is an insult. Outside the beltway is code for stupid sheep population.

I “lived” in the WDC area for 30+ years prior to escaping. That condescending attitude of the “inside the beltway” pols and minions is nothing new. There are many, many more criminals in government that good guys.

Exactly so. This business of allowing lame ducks to continue legislating after the voters tossed them out has got to stop.

We need to mandate that the legislative session is adjourned on or before election day with newly elected members sworn in within a week of the election.

Members voted out are to be escorted out by Sgt. At Arms with only personal files.

Further more the states need to mandate that any aides, clerks, etc, be citizens of that state with the same affiliation as the elected member and shall be publicly named. We don’t need unnamed moles hiding in the Capitol.

Here are the Republicans the Tea Party should target in 2016. The other traitor senators are safe for a while.

Ayotte (R-NH)
Blunt (R-MO)
Boozman (R-AR)
Burr (R-NC)
Coats (R-IN)
Hoeven (R-ND)
Isakson (R-GA)
Kirk (R-IL)
Murkowski (R-AK)
Toomey (R-PA)

Somehow I pray the Tea Party announces their key primary states quickly as possible. We need conservatives in these positions. Start running ads now...

We are waaaaay past the point of elections stopping this Imperial Oligarchy now ruling us.

McConnell’s rider in the CROMnibus that expands a tenfold increase in corporate donations to their beltway PACs ensures NO CONSERVATIVE will EVER be able to win a primary in a state the Ruling Class claims for themselves.

Did you think McConnell’s statement that “I don’t think they (Conservatives) are going to have a single nominee anywhere in the country” was an accidental admission?

We cannot reform the Federal Beast and Oligarchy via civil means PERIOD. You cannot work within a corrupted system to bring reform to those who corrupted it.

It’s been rigged to ensure we can’t.

We are no longer a Representative Republic anyway. We are a post-Constitutional Imperial Fascist Oligarchy. Better start thinking outside the box the Ruling Class want to keep us in if you want to hold onto what is left of your liberty.

CAESAR:"Et tu, Brute?" {Brutus} Caesar calling out to Brutus as his friend Brutus and other Roman Senators suddenly and repeatedly began stabbing Caesar to death.

VOTERS WHO VOTED FOR REPUBLICANS THIS MIDTERM: "Et tu, Boehner?" Referring to how Speaker Boehner betrayed and stabbed midterm Republican voters in the back with his passage of the recent traitorous spending bill.

BOEHNER: Who is Judas? Why do people keep calling me Judas as I walk down the street? Why did someone recently leave 30 pieces of silver on my doorstep? I only want what is best for America. As my friend Obama likes to say: "It was the right thing to do.God bless America!"
