FERGUSON, Mo. (Reuters) - Honking horns and banging a metal bucket, a small but growing group of protesters awaited Monday's grand jury decision, swarming the Ferguson Police Department and meeting briefly with the father of slain black teen Michael Brown.
Mike Brown Sr., whose unarmed son was killed by a white police officer on Aug. 9, slowed down in a car to chat with demonstrators after hearing that the secret panel had reached a decision on whether to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the Aug. 9 shooting.
Protester Byron Conley, father of a teen son, said he spoke with Brown about the pain of losing a child and "spending a holiday like Thanksgiving without your son. I could tell what he's going through."(continued)

Are we all assuming it’s going to be “no indictment” ? That’s what people were saying last week, but I wonder if this delay doesn’t mean that “forces were at work”.

Regardless of what decision the grand jury has made, there will be a riot. The rioters want to riot and will look for any pretext to do what they are wont to do.

The truth is a very small minority of blacks give a damn about this case. Those with jobs and raising their kids right in my part of town couldn’t care less. It’s the media and poverty pimps who fan the flames. There was a time when Sharpton would have been arrested for “inciting a riot”.

I have never understood the “logic” behind protesting a perceived injustice with a boatload of injustice. That hardly makes their point.

My first thought as well, but let’s not forget Lisa Lu, “Hey Girl”, who became a regular in Season 2. She’s still acting at 87.

I take it poor Mikes’s Grandmaw won’t be attending the dinner as she is probably recoving from wounds from selling tee shirts.
This is great for the looters. They will not show up to the protests, waiting in the back alleys with crowbars instead. Then, when the verdict comes in, its time for some window smashing and whitey skull crushing.
Pressure sure can work remarkably well when the recipient of said pressure is a retired florist, software developer, teacher, dentist...or anyone who might be vaguely concerned about perhaps suffering a bizarre fatal accident while driving home.
