...The letter, called “An Open Letter From Ferguson Protestors [sic] and Allies,” equates the current situation in Ferguson and the United States with slavery and lynchings.
“We are living an American Horror Story,” the letter begins.
It continues later (emphasis theirs): “Not one group of us has been spared from the bullet or the beating, too many armed only with our Blackness, left to live this American Horror Story. The story has come alive once again in Ferguson.”
The authors then go on to assert that “whites” intentionally disregard the plight of African Americans because they do not want to come to terms with how racist their system of oppression has been. “Ours were the bodies, served up as notice to remain humbly and quietly in our place, never to awaken America’s fear of Blackness,” the letter explains.
...The letter promises that because there is no "justice," there will be no "peace." It goes further, explaining next (emphasis theirs):
"Even in the face of this terror, we will continue to force the readers and writers of this, a most American of horror stories, to face the blackness that they fear, the blackness they have spent this entire story trying to erase, trying to soften, trying to co-opt, trying to escape."
It then specifically calls white people out as the creators of their oppression, writing, "We will no longer allow you to escape this story and pretend that the epidemic of black lives dying by white hands is merely a figment of an active Black imagination. You must come face to face with the horror that we live daily."

The Islamofascists race baiters and their media enablers are committing a miscalculation of Middle Eastern proportion. Their plans will backfire by waking up the proverbial giant.
After all said and done, it could be the incident that free our Republic from the new slavery chains.

I’d have to say no, “pulling oneself up by the bootstraps” is as impossible as the metaphor that was created for it. All we do there is salute self pride. Self-pride quickly loses true dignity and true purpose. It says “Look how great we are” rather than “Look how great God was to us.”
But progressing by means of God’s grace is extremely possible. This is going to require their disavowing the Wrong Rev. Wright’s “God Damn America” credo. Because the curse comes down on the curser too.
What if there was a riot but nobody came?

Doesn't help that we have a lawless "president" desperately wanting to change the subject. He's egging them on, in ways worse than we could have imagined six years ago.
Thing is, though. There's an inverse relationship between boastfulness and genuine weakness. There won't be much of any real "direct action" except in MO, and it will be shut down quickly. It is not going to pop out anywhere other than Democrat-run slums, and it will peter out overnight.

There’s a black comedian who has a joke about if you put him on MLK street in any part of the country, you are guaranteed to be in the crappy part of town. Other blacks were mone too happy with him at the time, but he refused to apologize or take it back.
