Let's keep it real. Blacks Behaving Badly videos do really well on youtube and people make money off them. Black people watch them on World Star Hip-Hop and are like "dammmmmnnnn, girlfriend, you see this s--t?" ...

I know I'll be thinking about the types of cars in the McD parking lot. And I won't be having those same thoughts about the Chick-Fil-A across the street, making the latter's food a whole lot more appetizing.
What you're telling us, confirming the message in the video, is that McDonalds prefers to serve morally weakened people :)
"They got you talking about McDonalds / there's no such thing as bad press". Someone's twisted idea of viral marketing.
Meanwhile, I’ll be part of the shift to Chipolte and Panera. For many reasons, I have not been in a McDonald’s for lunch for about three years.

They still have some “McDonalds Express” around; I believe it is just a drive-through and walk-up (no seats).
The last time I was physically inside a McDonalds was years ago when they wouldn’t deal with panhandlers INSIDE. It was hard to say I didn’t have change when they watched me get it at the counter, but I did anyway; guess I figured I’d be a millionaire if they wanted to brawl (they didn’t).
Someone made a video of that scene, I find it hard to believe that they didn’t deliberately stage it to be a youtube hit. RME Yes, people ARE that stupid.

I seem to recall shakes back then as well, but we just went for the 15 cent burgers & the fries, with a coke.
I believe McDonald’s isn’t 100% surprised by situations like these. Remember, its business model is franchises.

You and many others. The company is definitely seeing some rough times. (And if the economy is bad, it doesn’t necessarily mean fewer people are eating at McDonald’s.)

West Central NC, near a town of 50,000.
Nice place, geographically, socially & demographically. Large SE Asian refugee community, growing Hispanic population, Blacks are Americans, for the most part, not “African-Americans”.
No noticeable racial tension, let alone strife.
I’ve lived in DC, Chicago, Uganda, Vietnam, Nicaragua. Here suits me just fine.
I am blessed.
