Businesses must be willing to adapt or risk going out of business. Someone as ignorant as Michelle Nunn about basic economics should not be elected to the Senate
Michelle Nunn has been getting a lot of traction on the shipping jobs overseas rhetoric in an effort to paint her opponent, David Purdue, as unsympathetic to American workers. Its a tactic toward anyone who is in business to demagogue them for shipping jobs overseas, just like they did to Romney in 2012.
Michelles cheap shots have lead her to create an ad campaign specifically focused on this narrative. Hours of countless searching has turned up a deposition from 2005, during which David Perdue answered a question about his experience with outsourcing by saying: Yeah, I spent most of my career doing that.

Get paid for pimping much?
Democrats don’t understand much of anything besides demagoguery and deceit.
If Democrats understood basic economics, our taxes wouldn’t be so high.
The current regime has proven that incompetent idiots and drooling morons can run the government. Yeah, they screw it up pretty bad but they can still run it.
Nice catch.
How much knowledge does Michelle Nunn have about economic?
Simple, like her name, NUNN!
most Georgians recall her dad as senator who was very pro defense and viewed as a very moderate dim. Folks are thinking the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.
Georgians best get out the vote and Perdue off his butt if he wants to win.
Kind of hard on the people whose jobs were offshored though. Those are the ones she's appealing to. It's a valid tactic and we'll see how successful it is.
Sadly you are right. We managed to nominate the most lackluster of all the GOP candidates and now as Gordon Ramsey would say we are “in the chit” Pray for a runoff where even a GOP nothing burger like Perdue will likely prevail.
Perdue is the annointed GOPe candidate. As a conservative, I am not really motivated.
I will do what is right.
I for one am really tired of the Republicans referring to their opponents as, my friend, etc. I want the candidate to point to him/her and say that socialist S.O.B!!
Well we will vote for Perdue even though he was our last choice.
We were Paul Broun supporters. I could vomit from all the supposedly conservative people who trashed Paul Broun for his religious beliefs and had no clue of how he has consistently voted as a US rep and the kinds of conservative govt cutting bills he has written and sponsored.
Hopefully if he can pull out a victory Perdue will go to DC and try to do something right. I know Michelle Nunn will not.
