At least three people are dead and several are injured in a school shooting that has taken place at Marysville Pilchuck High School in Marysville, Washington.
News reports state that the gunman was a student.
The school is currently in a lockdown. All after school activities have been cancelled.
Unconfirmed reports from local news sources say at least three people are dead and six are injured.
The shooter reported that the gunman walked into the cafeteria and opened fire.
A moment ago the Police Chief said (on radio) that the only death is the shooter.
Let us pray that continues to be the case as more information is known...

So, as of right now, two of the dead people are not dead any more, but the shooter is still dead?
This is all VERY confusing...
I would say that they all have one thing in common. That the shooters have one form or another of mental illness. At at least all of the ones in the last few years.
I would not say that it was drugs because millions of Americans take psycho-tropic drugs as well with absolutely no problem.
But mental illness will get you all the time.
Maybe there’s some new epa calibration requirement that can’t be met. :>}

As always when you have a breaking story like this.
I realize Fling is opposed to that stuff and was being sarcastic. It is the characterization of all Washington as liberal that I was reacting to.
Student witness on with Shep now. Said he walked up to a table next to witness and fired about four shots at students at the table rather than wildly. He didn’t say a word. Turned to look at the witness caller but then fired out the window. Shot specific people at first and random later. He shot one of his good friends. Then people ran out of lunchroom, climbed the fence and to the church. Witness didn’t see him shoot himself. Said shooter was a good kid and never would have thought this about him. He played freshmen football and got into a fight two weeks ago over someone saying something racist about American Natives (he was NA). Also, he broke up with a long time gf. Said he was a hunter and it may have been a 9 millimeter.
Another witness, Frankie, said he grew up with him and never would have thought that about the guy. Said he was a little kid. Said he never saw him with a gun before. Frankie was late to school and didn’t see what happened.

But, but...the kids are saying that nobody would ever have thought that he could do something like this.

But, I did not get the slightest impression from his comment that he was characterizing all of Washington as liberal. All I saw was sarcasm from start to finish.
Yup! That and now we’ve got to listen to more BS from the gun grabbers from now until election day. This is getting old.

This news item is not correct Reports suggest that only the gunman was killed and by himself.

There was much effort placed into learning how to direct the mentally ill in the 1960's. They spent the 2014-equivalent of billions of dollars on the topic, and they wouldn't have if there was no 'there' there.
Imagine if such research and/or possible ability fell into the hands of a rogue, Constitution-hating, lawless President and administration who's PRIMARY goal was to disarm Americans?

It’s true, you’re not supposed to just stop taking those things, you have to get off them very carefully.
Or in the case of some crazy people - stay on them!
