Canadians can at least take pride in the assurance that their prime minister doesn’t hide behind other names conjured by politicians and terrorists alike for terrorism
South of our border, the current occupier of the White House calls jaw-dropping citizen slaughter by members of the so-called Religion of Peace “Workplace violence”.
Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper calls the attack on Parliament Hill that took the life of War Memorial Honour Guard Cpl. Nathan Cirillo exactly what it is: TERRORISM.
Terrorism is terrorism and no other name comes close to describing it. Those who call terrorism anything else, for reasons that include both cowardice and political expediency, are doing exactly the same thing the terrorists do: attempting to hide terrorist violence under phony names like ‘Religion of Peace’.

That’s exactly right. It’s shameful and embarrassing that the POTUS sugarcoats reality, or more often, outright lies. Especially with things that are serious threats to Americans and America as well.
Donald Trump once said we are the laughingstock of the world. This is case in point.
Harper’s address to Parliament this morning stands in stark contrast to remarks given by Obama and American politicians regarding terror in our country. I hope it shows up on video soon.
Yep. Did Harper mention radical islam by name? If not, his statements are not so bold after all.
Better phrase: “Acts of War by Islamists, financed and supported by certain Islamic regimes”.
Terrorism isn’t much better. Islam is the correct term, but I’ll settle for Islamic terrorists.
“Terrorism” is itself a word used to obfuscate the fact that this is a war of ALL Islam against the Infidel West, particularly America.
POTUS is a Moslem who has managed to attain the rule of the major Infidel state in the world that is inhibiting the expansion of the Umma. Obama is doing what he must do for Allah.
It was a great and really emotional address, and I urge all to see it if they can - probably be on CNN and the other networks tonite, maybe YouTube.
Harper isn’t a closet Muslim like our Iman in Chief.
Sorry but our Muslim president won’t go against his Muslim brothers and call them terrorists. It’s in his book.

There’s no such thing as ‘radical Islam’ - only Islam.
I wouldn't have expected Harper (or any leading politician, for that matter) to call out islam for what it is. But for him to mention "radical islam", that's not too much to hope for.
But his statement makes no mention of "radical islam". He just talks about terrorism. As you mentioned, that could mean anything. Quebec separatists, neo-nazis, whatever.
I'll give Harper a pass for now, as he is probably still trying to process all this. But if he is not more specific in the near future, then he's just like all the rest.
In America terrorism/terrorist only applies to conservatives according to Obama and his ilk.
I thought Canada had strict gun laws, so how did the subhuman savage get one?
