Fast forward to fall 2014, and the Wall Street Journal has a powerful article about how children in schools systems across the U.S. are being arrested or turned over to police custody for doing things that children have always done since the beginning of time. Things such as wearing too much perfume, sharing a classmates’ chicken nuggets, throwing an eraser or chewing gum.
As a result of our insane societal obsession with authority and disproportionate punishment, the WSJ reports that “nearly one out of every three American adults are on file in the FBI’s master criminal database.”

Mine is probably somewhat thick. I first filed my fingerprints with them as a Boy Scout and the various investigations that were regularly done over my military career with high-level clearances pulled them into the investigations as well.
Anyone who spent at least a few years in the military has a jacket.

Hey I think most of us are on that list and wear it as a badge of honor...it just means we’re decent human beings being monitored by evil liberal bean counters. Intimidation is their game. You can’t keep a good man down.
This doesn’t shock me at all, TBH. We bring ourselves under scrutiny. AT LEAST half of the more active posters here (including yours truly) have advocated armed rebellion if any of their particular pet peeves are triggered. The fact that most of us are all talk is why we aren’t behind bars.
I can say, if there truly IS another gospel revival... they will find some way to heap high suspicion on the evangelists. God’s grace is the enemy of what the world does with the law.
Some of this is hogwash. You don’t fingerprint juveniles unless they have committed a felony and it does not go into the FBI’s AFIS system. That is for adults only.
Mine? No more than a page or two. No felonies I can tell you that.
