Seeing Ebola through Obama's eyes
RenewAmerica ^ | October 17, 2014 | Cliff Kincaid

The nephew of the black African who brought Ebola to the United States doesn't blame his uncle. He blames us. He writes in The Dallas Morning News that his uncle did everything right in Liberia, but still got Ebola, and wasn't treated correctly in the U.S. The claim is that he had a right to be on U.S. soil and that it's our fault he's dead.

I suspect this is how President Barack Obama views Ebola. How else do you explain his opposition to a common-sense ban on travel to the U.S. by people from Ebola-infected countries? Tragically, Obama's alternative is for the U.S. to become infected. Then, he must figure, there will be more pressure to find a "cure," or at least a vaccine. But who knows how many will die in the process? It could be hundreds, or thousands, or more.

Ordinary Americans are scratching their heads, and some are getting angry, over the "flawed" approach to Ebola by the U.S. government. These people don't understand that Obama views restrictions on African travel to the U.S. as racist. He won't say this publicly, but as someone who has been documenting Obama's Marxist background and approach to public policy for six years, there is no other logical explanation. He sees the people of much of the world, including Africa and the Middle East, as victims of American foreign policy. We are responsible for their problems....

I dread seeing what happens at the borders when Ebola hits Mexico and central America. :-(

Imagine hundreds of thousands of people pouring across the border looking for a chance at free, quality health care to save them.

Not that I blame them... self preservation is ingrained in people.

Yeah, it didn’t take a genius to reach this conclusion.

That he’s not instituting either a travel moratorium from those countries that are hotspots plus a basic, minimum quarantine makes me wonder if his inaction is deliberate.

Every minute that CNN and other liberal media can cover the ebola “story” is a minute that they don’t have to discuss more obvious failings of Obama. In fact, the looming “ebola crisis” (probably a vast exaggeration) is something that “the government” will have to solve and of course for their viewers, Obama is the government.

I imagine that “fears will ease” around the day after the mid-term elections (especially if they don’t lose too badly).

The outbreak of Ebola in the US illustrates the danger of having a race based administration and party In control of health issues.

Africans had no issues in restricting movement of people from the Ebola outbreak areas.

That probably will happen and it will be terrible. It might also be interesting. What do you think will be even most of the left's reaction to illegals working on home improvement projects, doing our yard work, and preparing food for us in restaurants after the first few Obola cases among illegals or transmitted to Americans by illegals? My guess is that a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged, and there will be a lot more conservatives once we pay a real price for the far left's treason.

If you get hit twenty three times by an uppercut, at what point do you realize it is NOT an accident?

Obama is a community activist, he will wait
till everyone is screaming at him to do something
then the crackdown will begin and it won’t be just
airline passengers or closing the boarder but
much closer to home controls.

I hope after this is over someone can tell me I’m
wrong.

Brilliant !

First time I've heard that "Einstein-quality" analysis linking Ebola and illegals, from that perspective.

Liberal Americans are a peculiar lot.

When people ask me what will it take to rescue America from its current insanity,

I reply ...

Well, when enough people have died ... or kiddies of liberal parents have contracted the entro-virus (polio) ...

I wondered where our Surgeon General is. Turns out Obama wanted one who had no medical background but had organized Surgeons for Obama. The guy in the office now is an Admiral with impressive credentials. I’ll wager he has been muzzled. Given the current approval rules Harry Reid could get Obama’s candidate in on a simple majority. The fact that he hasn’t indicates even Democrats won’t vote for him.

Without airplane flights out of infected African countries, the exact number of Ebola cases in America right now would be ZERO.

Yes. I’m afraid there will finally be a travel ban, but something so far reaching and draconian never before seen in this country because they didn’t do it right when this whole thing started.

Ebola is an unexpected enhancement to U.N. Agenda 21, which calls for reducing Earth’s population by about 85%. Obama loves it.
