Ebola reminds me of the swine flu episode and the graphic I made for it…

I think ebola will be Obama’s Iranian hostage crisis.

It may be the defining crisis that will be forever attached to his name. Though ISIS is giving ebola a run.

We need to quit calling it the Ebola epidemic or the HN whatever the hell it is killing kids all over America, and start calling it with EVERY thread, political speech and news article “The Democrats Biological Warfare on America”. Please help.

First of all. That’s a bird, that’s the “avian” flu. Second of all, that’s a “monkey” in the second picture, and the swine flu didn’t kill a 1000th of a fraction back in whatever nightmare year it was that Ebola has this year.

Swine Flu was 1976 - I was in boot camp and nearly died when we all shots for it - the cure was worse than the flu.

______________

I too was on active duty then, I haven’t had a flu shot sense then. I used up all of my luck on that one... Sicker than a dog and puking my guts out like most everyone else in the barracks at the time.

As being one of the FIVE inglorious USAF, Dover AFB, De, airmen that were sick from the 1976 swine flu epidemic ranging out from Fort Dix, NJ,

any and all jocularity, including, “aw, did you happen to get a pig’s nose and curly tail?”, would be resoundingly retorted with the accompnaying “OUCH-OO-AH-UMPH’s”.

I ALMOST DIED FROM THAT SICKNESS!!!!

As Bill Clinton would say, "It all depends on what the definition of IS is."

When I was a little boy I almost died from an allergic reaction to pistachios...I wouldn’t feel the need to get violent if someone joked about it.

dear looking,

I was born in the 1950’s with quite a few allergies, from the start:
1. lanolin, which is in wool products ... there was no ‘polarfleece’ back then.
2. MOM, so i started life deprived of all those natural enzymes.
3. raw fruits and veggies, even to the touch on some ... try explaining that one to a governmental dietician. (i can get away with one slice of tomato on my burger.
4. by old fashioned scratch tests, EVERYTHING THAT GREW in New England!!!
5. detergents and cleansers.
6. dog and cat fur.

The swine flu is something that has been so far and time separation, that Americans grasp for the jokes, without a thought. The swine FLU is NOT an allergy!!!!!

With all due respect, I think you’re missing the point.
