Potential suits against the Dallas, Texas hospital that sent home a patient later diagnosed with Ebola face long odds in the face of state medical malpractice laws.

Texas tort-reform measures have made it one of the hardest places in the United States to sue over medical errors, especially those that occurred in the emergency room, according to plaintiffs’ lawyers and legal experts.

Nice, let’s hope there is no payoff for this guy, and his family and enablers, but instead some charges and prison time.

How is it a “medical error” when the patient lies?

Lying lawyer scum. But I repeat myself. All Texas did was curb the practice of bottom feeder lawyers convincing juries full of morons that hospitals and doctors should pay ridiculous punitive damages. Actual damages are still fair game for medical mistakes.

This article is nothing more than the sour grapes of the John Edwards of the world trying to use an ebola scare to score political points.

This is actual uncharted territory vis. a vis. liability...

The fact that Presby sent him home is probably why that Snake Jenkins usurped the Amblamps.

Whole new industry, for the lawyers, if you think about it.

Duncan lied about his exposure.

If he survives he will face charges from Liberia and Dallas County.

‘Ebola lawsuits would face high hurdles in Texas’

So, don’t even try it.

That’s what the article is trying to say.

Actually they should sue the Director of CDC and the Administration for civil and criminal negligence for allowing him in the country without quarantine.

This scummy little sack of shit came to this country for the express purpose of seeking FREE medical care after he knew almost certainly he was infected with this vicious disease. He proceeded to wait until he was symptomatic to haul his sorry ass to the flipping PUBLIC emergency room in Dallas and then lie about his condition. This monstrous scumbag then went home to his relatives to further spread the joy. Once he was truly on DEATHS DOOR STEP, the little subhuman miscreant proceeded to balistically vomit his disease into puddles in his front yard while the unsuspecting and unprotected EMT personnel drove his worthless miserable ass back to the emergency room for yet another go around. Am I missing anything here?
