Pelosi Ties GOP to Ray Rice ("War On Women")
Breitbart TV ^ | 9-15-2014

Posted on 09/16/2014 6:36:01 AM PDT by Sir Napsalot

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi tied the Republican Party to Ray Rice on Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Ronan Farrow Daily.”

When asked about Rice and the Democratic Party’s domestic policy agenda, she stated “the issue is about respect or disrespect for women. Whether it’s respect for their ability to make their own choices in terms of their reproductive health, whether it’s equal pay for equal work honoring the value of work that people bring to the table, whether it’s meeting the needs of women in terms of affordable quality childcare, which are for families and not just women.”

......

Pelosi then pivoted to criticizing the Republican Party, arguing “it's important to note that the Violence Against Women Act, we celebrated, observed the 20th anniversary, this past week on Saturday, the 20th anniversary. It has really helped women tremendously. If there is any good thing that could come out of all of this horror, it is that women know that something is there for them ...... that the Republicans said ‘well, we’ll pass a bill and you can protect women against violence unless they are an immigrant woman a woman of Native American heritage or an LGBT community women.’ that the Republicans said ‘well, we’ll pass a bill and you can protect women against violence unless they are an immigrant woman a woman of Native American heritage or an LGBT community women.’

.....There’s never a way we could support their bill that excluded LGBT, Native American, and immigrant women from the protections of Violence Against Women Act.”

"Something" is there for them (women), but that something didn't prevent Mrs. Rice (then fiancé) from being knocked out, did it?

And trust Pelosi to put words into (quote) Republicans' (unquote) mouth.

Side note - a caller to Rush yesterday had a funny twist on “LGBT” that we can use.

He called them the “Gay BLTs”.

Since nothing seems likely to get these people out of Washington DC and our lives I find myself praying for an act of God to do the job.

Lord forgive me.

Dear Nancy,

Anyone who has attained the position of Speaker of the House, and then has the unmitigated arrogance tell the American people that “we have to pass the bill so you can find out what’s in it,” should never again be taken seriously about anything.

So please just STFU. Honestly, you are as loony as the mad Queen of Hearts.

Sincerely,
Maceman

"Nancy Pelosi is an idiot."

Too true. Come a day she will start barking like a dog on the House floor.

I may be somewhat cynical, but I suspect that much of the over-hype of the Rice case is due to the media wanting to bring the so called war on women front and center for the coming election.

They are going to play that elevator scene over and over again with the subtitle saying that women have to get out and vote democrat to stop this kind of violence against women.

Goodell and the rest of the NFL panderers are way down the wrong path. They're working to appease those women whose goal is to destroy football for good.

That pregame show that was all about abuse and nothing about football was a giant step in that direction. A panel of women to tell the NFL how men should behave is just weird.

I’ll bet a month’s salary that Rice voted for Bammy twice (if he voted at all).

Rice is clearly a big Republican supporter /sarc. In fact, it’s about a 93% certainty that he supported the other guy.

Homosexuals have already confiscated too much of the English language. They do not get the BLT too!

She's already run across the House floor like a dog chasing after someone. Surely the barking can't be far behind.
